  1. bah stay away from that shite whos comin to J5?
  2. damn, glad u didnt buy my car cos id be in tears right now hope u get it sorted, macka used a place i cant mention its name but they bodged up his wheels 3 times so maybe send him a PM to stay away from the dodgey guys
  3. im talking about perth
  4. does the name GCG turbochargers mean anything to you? i dont think they would be so successful if high flows were so 'shit'... there are plenty of people making 350 at the wheels with alot better driveability on these high flows. back to the original argument tho, have we all agreed now that for 5,000 you cant replace the turbo.
  5. macka has run a 12.98 on one of your crappy 'high-flowed' turbos which still stands as the fastest R33 gtst on the forum i believe. he makes full boost by 3500rpm which alot more driveable than the 4500rpm lagmonsters going around today. do some research cos i believe you are the one 'dribbling shit'
  6. i think you should ask paul what hes spent cos it aint exactly within the 5000 budget. and yes, i did read your post. you suggested putting on a GT30
  7. well pauls turbo spools at 4K on an RB25 with a tubular manifold, so id predict 45-4800
  8. rob: youre forgetting dump + front pipe and other exhaust work as well though i dont think you can change the std turbo for under 5K effectively... look at how much paul spent before changing his turbo (may be an extreme case) but hes reaping the rewards now as he did the support systems BEFORE bolting on a big mofo turbo
  9. dont put a GT30 on with a 5,000 budget you need the support systems first like intercooler, management, fuel system. dont just throw on a big turbo. id start doing the whole exhaust. then front mount and full management. but be prepared to replace your clutch and fuel pump as well and already youre up around the $5,000 mark once its all tuned and fitted.
  10. cos redlingtr deleted his post
  11. a GTR is an expensive car to fix, but good luck to him
  12. go whore in your own state what is the point of that post?
  13. illl be down in the diesel support car good luck guys and good luck ben, hope you can lay down the time i never could
  14. it depends completely on T04E size though really. there are quite a few different specs as u can see by looking at ray hall turbochargers i paid $900 to get mine rebuilt... again wheel sizes will determine to what point they are efficient
  15. haha erik im tryin to find a welcome to last week pic too
  16. yeh mate its gone got a hilux now, its a little different haha but fun all the same
  17. ill be the support car! hehe
  18. i put mine to the side of the steering wheel in the 32s its different though so you wont be able to do the same thing unfortauntely
  19. use your imagination, they can be installed anywhere if you get the mounting bracket u can put it either side of the steering column, in air vents, the DIN slot under the stereo
  20. when importing theres very little you can do all you get is the engineers report obvisouly if you want a car which has been well maintained etc look for the basics like service history (very unlikely) no mods, low ks, straight bodywork, non accident grade etc etc i personally dont see the attraction of buying an NA R32, im sure theres a local car which would match its specs and be alot cheaper to maintain and insure.
  21. weather looks good for sunday at this stage... showers clearing by friday
  22. can you give any more information here paul? cos alot of people i know who arent on the forum are having to make the wolf vs power fc decision, and its nice to know the facts on both ECUs before makin a $2,000 decision! cheers
  23. haha urgent help? i was expecting a stranded on the side of the road story... rob what is the duty cycle on your injectors at the moment? id take a guess that youd be running out of flow at 370rwhp on stock fuel rail pressure
  24. buy a gtst the RB25DE runs higher compression than the DET as well, which means it will be even weaker (a scary thought i know! )
