    doesnt sound right to me... if one cylinder were running lean then itd show on the plugs they wouldnt all be white (ie running lean)

    heat from where though? all cylinders are isolated as well (ie are in bores) so that wouldnt work. all the plugs were burnt white

    yeh exactly which would point to an overall fuelling problem, not an individual injector. a problem which should come up on the AFRs. bcos if theres supposed to be heaps of fuel according to the o2 sensor where is it all coming from? its not goin through the combustion chamber... is it possible that the dyno is faulty? (maybe a dumb question)

    nah its a fair bit of work tho to get the top of the plenum off i want to know its the injector first before i start pulling things apart

    but steve was taking fuel out in the top end indicating that on stock fuel map/pressure its overfuelling

    look on meggalas site, hes got a link to the RB engine manual and it tells you there basically its from the centre out, similar to all other engines. ask a mechanic if ure unsure. also that will tell you what torque the headbolts need, they are tightened down in 5 stages

    oil should be 1k @ 650rpm 3k @ 3000rpm 4k @ 6000rpm however the std guage isnt that accurate. if youre really concerned then try an aftermarket guage. in my opinion 5-40 is a bit too thin for an engine going on 10 years old, try 15-50 or 10-40

    just pull the intake piping off, it will take you 10-15mins that way ull be able to find out what turbo it is and see if it has a ceramic or metal wheel!

    yeh ive been researching this in perth but as far as ive got is speedworks. who have the japanese but not english software the cost for engligh software is quite large and they said they werent goin to have it in for a while

    check all intake, fuelling and ignition systems ie intercooler pipes + AFM change the fuel filter and check ur coil packs are firing and the ignition module is still functioning

    ive got one as well only BD4s in sydney can tune em unfortunately i ditched mine cos its basically useless sorry for the bad news
