the profec b's are fine. they do have the function GAIN or fuzzy logic or whatever trust call it which is supposed to reduce lag. basically it holds the wastegate shut until the desired boost pressure is reached rather than 'bleeding' off the air. it depends from turbo to turbo how much an EBC reduces lag, but dont expect miracles the biggest advantage is now youve got an electronically controlled solenoid which you can adjust from inside the cabin depending on driving conditions or how hard you want to drive. so you dont have to hammer the car all the time. this is the biggest advantage i found from the 'upgrade'.

good luck with the crank pulley bolt, you might need a rattle-gun to get if off other than that just line up all the original marks and you should be sweet

jono get a .63 exhuats housing. even with a .70 youre still gunah get mega lag

regarding street-ability it makes about 4-7psi through the midrange (2500rpm to 3500rpm) so it isnt bad but nothing compared to the stocker or a little BB like a 2530

yeh mine is almost exactly the same on an RB20 - full boost by 4200rpm (with same turbine specs as yours) and hoping to push 300rwhp a bit laggy but delivers big top end and if youre after big power it is a good turbo.

use the little key you get with the alarm, this manually diasbles the siren

biggest housing on a T04E is a 1.06 ive got a 0.63 on an RB20 and its pretty laggy. before i put a smaller turbine on it was making full boost at 5200rpm. now its repsectable at 4200rpm be prepared for little to no mid range tho

hey all paul; any luck with the radiator?

the entire cooling sytem is screwed haha the leak is still there @ the back near the inlet runners. that hasnt been patched up yet. but the pump is leaking and the radiator is cracked almost in half

ive been told VL (3L) ones are the way to go. anyone know? and while im here, anyone got an RB20 radiator?

does anyone have or know where i can get an RB20DET water pump? preferably in the near future cos im sick of my pushbike cheers adam
