Hi all, I've got a set of Weds Kranze Cerberus Rims that was on my GTR when it came from japan. I cant seem to find any stamps to identify the size/measurements of the rims. They are not standard GTR measurements because the front two tyres use 2CM wheel spacers to clear front brake calipers. The tyres size for both front and back are 235/40ZR18. On the back of the rims there are 3 seperate circles with a number in them, one circle on each "spoke" of the wheel. One circle has an 8, another with a 12 and the last one with a 2. What do they mean? can give me some guidance on trying to identify these rims? thought i'd ask before lugging all 4 of them to the tyre shop. thanks, Scratch

Hi all, Trying to find a stock r32 GTR rear spoiler in Perth for pickup. I'm also hoping to find the N1 mini Rear Spoiler add on but this isnt as urgent as the rear spoiler itself. Color is not an issue as long as its not cracked, warped or has holes in it. lastly I'm after a stock genuine GTR airbox. is a full cage allowed if the front bars dont go through the dash?

Hi, Does anyone know if roll cages (both front bars and rear bars) are street legal in WA ? I heard from some sources that they were and yet others say only rear bars are legal... does anyone know the full story? Cheers!

TFM is in japanese mate.. Found some english Apexi manuals on the web, but the information is limited to "how to plug in" the PFC. The Handcontroller manual was a bit more helpful, showing how the navigate the menu's. However the manual is catered for tuning pro's, no real explanations what each item is, just how to change it. you're right there is an "offset" parameter, but from what i was able to piece out though it seems both trailing and leading ign would have to be adjusted. I was hoping there would be a single parameter that handles both, but doubtful now. Thanks to everyone who replied, really appreciate the time and effort. please close thread.

okay so the standard gtr idle timing is less than 20 degrees..Gotcha, I also take it you're saying its like my computer isnt in synch with the engine? I was told that the timing on my crank is 4 degree's retarded. I posted what my power FC outputted because i was told by the workshop who installed and dynotuned my PFC that it was properly synchronized with my engine. I appreciate the comment and understand where you are coming from, but I have searched and have not found anything specific enough to be my answer. now now, no need to be impolite.. if i knew that i wouldnt be asking the question. I was told by reputable tuner that the PFC should have more than enough advancement to correct timing problems similiar to mine, but i'd have to pay for another retune for him to go further than that.. a different workshop originally tuned my PFC. My CAS is currently wound up full, but my engine is not pinging at all.. and apparently i'm still running retarded on the crank. the workshop that tuned the pfc says all is good, the other workshop says its off. Before spending another 500, I thought i'd try to find out more to see if i can test it myself. my question again is in the power FC hand controller, what values do you change to increase the 20Deg to a higher figure.

Hi guys, i've been told that my GTR is running retarded, my Pwr FC says my idle timing is 20degrees, Whats is the proper IDLE timing for a r32 GTR? Does anyone know how to adjust idle timing on a PFC? cheers!

Yeah i guessed i was already near limit as i'm running stock but tuned up a little. I'm getting only around 285HP at the wheels atm. The new pump is a walbro that support up to 650hp. thinking of getting a adjustable FPR too and then retuning the power FC.

I hear you man.. right now there is no signs of it wearing out i.e whining or boost fluctuations. I'll definitely change immediately when I can afford it. for now I'm only running 11PSI and not standing on it.

Hi everyone, What benefit is there in upgrading a fuel pump in a r32 GTR to one that supports higher HP? The car has a power FC, stock turbs, stock injectors, stock FPR. I want to upgrade my turbos when they eventually fail, I have a feeling they would be handy then. If they are useless in a stock setup, what do i need to do to get benefits from them before the turbo swap? Cheers, Scratch (I did a search before posting this, couldnt find anything helpful.)

<start rant> Speed limits here is like information overload. Try taking a drive down south, the speed limits changes like crazy. Half the time I was asking "what the hell is the speed limit now?" while the rest of the yathzee's on the road were screaming past doing 150 regardless. We spend more time looking for speed signs and watching our speed than actually paying attention to the road. Accidents happen in a split second, so drivers need to pay attention to the roads at all times... not worrying about making sure they are not doing 9 k's over by accident and getting nailed from a nova armed by a compo-bludger-cop. lets face it everyone occasionally goes a little over by accident because we cant keep looking a the speedo. There is always a turdling next to you who accelerates to block and then matches speeds when you've indicated for a hours that you want to switch lanes. With the road system/works these days, sometimes you cant afford to miss a turning and do a 5 k detour because of el turdling, so you put your foot down a little to get a safe distance between you and el turdling during merge. It just seems like we're put in positions to be guilty at all times, the system and roads are crap. Shit... I'm willing to bet that there have been more crashes on the cnr of 5th av and Beaufort st than there has been on the autobahn. Its rubbish that us import owners are always flagged as guilty for even being near an accident. Even bloody corolla's and hyundai's can do 140! (we just do it with style) but yet we're the ones who are always guilty of speeding? doesnt matter what type of car you drive... STUPID is STUPID. If I had a dollar for a everytime I've seen a dumbarse in a hyundai sprint almost causing a pile-up from STUPID-ASS-LOOK-MOM-NO-HANDS driving, I'll have skyline museum by now. Driving training is essential, speed doesnt kill.. people do. </end rant>

After-market steering wheels can also cause hicas issues. The stock steering wheel holds the steering sensor in proper place. I've heard that there are boss kits that cater for hicas (someone please confirm this, i'm looking for it as well). If the sensor is off alignment, it tries to calibrate for roughly 10 mins and when it cant it gives up and fires the warning lamp. When you start to get notchy feedback and all of that, bar that baby up. not worth the dollars to troubleshoot.

Well took the car down to hyperdrive and they managed to unblock the drainage hose. I didnt get the mobile AC tech's number though coz it was unblocked and i didnt need it. If it gets blocked again, i will get the number and get it looked.. but for now i'll be a tight arse and save some $$$

thanks for the quick reply, will track the mobile tech down. I think its a blocked drainage hose, i can see the hose coming out through the firewall in the engine bay and its pretty dry only a drop or two of water on it. Does anyone know a way of "unblocking" the hose without using a hoist?

Howdy, My AC is giving me issues and I need to get it looked at. I've visited a few places and when I ask "have you worked on a r32 skyline before ?", the usual response is "ermm no, but we're willing to try" or "no, but its all the same..". From my experience thats usually means crazy labour costs/dodgy jobs/something breaks. Anyone know a good place in Perth who can work on AC's in r32's ? Cheers!
