Yep on page 59 and 60. It's the OS Giken TC24 twin cam. The LY Nissan single cam cross flow head is also mentioned in the book as only giving a 4% to 6% improvement over the non cross flow Nissan head.
-
Yes there was an os giken twin cam for the L6, but none of the pictures in this thread are of one. The youtube link and the pictures are of the guy from hybrid z that used KA24 heads on a L28. Here is what the TC-24 B1 looked like (The TG in the advert is a mis-print, is is TC).

He should get banned form ebay. You cant list an item for sale then refuse to sell it for the price the auction ended at. Thats what reserves, buy it now prices and the ability to cancel an auction before it ends are for.

Flared Guards Dilemma
Mr Camouflage replied to passin ewe's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Is the back edge molded to the body. ie does it follow the contours of the side of the car exactly? I'm assuming it does, which make my next suggestion a bit pointless, but maybe you could mount them lower down on the car and chop the ends off? Otherwise cutting the guards out is probably the only solution. -

My Datto On You Tube
Mr Camouflage replied to passin ewe's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
I've been drinking wine all night, but I know I'm not that drunk. That photo is really blurry. I saw the photos in one of your other posts though. Have you thought about painting the rear tail light surrounds the original metallic gray, or black? Would match the flares when you get them. -
How Much Should I Pay
Mr Camouflage replied to passin ewe's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Does your friend still have the C110 flares? Are they definitely C110 items? They look more like 240Z flares/overfenders if thats them in the photos you posted. -
My Datto On You Tube
Mr Camouflage replied to passin ewe's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
I was discussing this very same topic at work today, after uploading some vids to youtube. It's because adsl has fast download, but slow upload, since most uploading is just your pc sending acknowledgment of data received, and that doesn't have to be particularly quick. Also that they need to re-encode the vid to flv format too. I just set up to 10 vids uploading then go do something else, like go to work. Good to see that you got your car back together. Got any pictures anywhere? -
Spent too much time hanging out at classiczcars.com I'd seen the same question asked there, so I stole the answer from there too.

Theres some pics on ozdat. You need to be logged in to see them though. http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10728

The kanji reads "Kyoku To", and it translates as 'Far East' It's an 'F.E.T.' manifold, made and sold by 'Far East Trading' - quite a famous name in the Japanese tuning and aftermarket parts industry from the late Sixties onwards.

actually... 1996 AUST COMP 09/02 NISSAN SZ R33 GTR SKYLINE TWINCAM 24 VALVUE TWIN TURBO RB26 6 CYLINDER MOTOR 5 SPEED GEAR BOX, (UNLICENSED) ODO; 31,401 KM SHOWING ON CLOCK, ENGINE NUMBER; NOT VISIBLE VIN NUMBER; 6U900BCNR33022180 = 211102 0900 9599/0053; 2002 767 163/0056 ....You need to improve your reading and comprehension skills Looks like it was confiscated in 2002, guessing by the police report number, which would explain the low KM's and the amount of rust on the brake disc's It sold for $24,000. The monaro sold for $48,000 even though its not a genuine 350 GTS. It was originally a 6 cyl GTS that came out of the Adelaide factory.

Looking Good Andrew. Ricky, GT-R reproduction parts are available from Challenge Fibreglass. Details available here: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthr...1641&page=2 You should send them an email soon, as they are about to make up some more. Only C110 parts though. You have a 210 don't you? Ghostrider, engine choice was governed by what ever was laying around his garage at home. The Nissan V8 fairy must have not stopped at his house that week, so he used the 318 he had sitting in the corner doing nothing. His car, His choice.

C210 78 Skyline V 280zx Compatibility
Mr Camouflage replied to passin ewe's topic in General Automotive Discussion
No they are not lsd from the factory. First Z to get a stock LSD was the Z31 turbo series 2. -
Some one should paint up a skyline to look like a cop car, and see how they like it.
-

Turbo Exhaust Manifold For L Series
Mr Camouflage replied to luke_mcmahon85's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
www.hybridz.org is probably the best place to learn about L series 6 cylinder turbo engines. I hear the non egr N42 intake manifold is a good one to use for turbos. I dont know why though. It's not a turbo manifold to begin with. As for shipping from the usa, tell them to ship it surface mail, and it should cost about half what they tell you for priority mail. It will take a couple of months to get here though. And yeah NZ had alot of L20ET's so thats a good place to find turbo exhaust manifolds. check www.trademe.co.nz for them. I had a friend get a whole L20et, and he's stripping all the bits i want off it and sending them to me. Also get a turbo oil pump. -
I thought the Australian 240K GL hardtop was a GT spec, but badged as a GL because of the GT paranoia that was going on at the time, caused by holden and fords plans for high powered street cars (XU-2 and Phase 4 GTHO). In the Parts manual the badges are shown as GT badges for the home marker, but there are GL badges marked as "for Australia" on the same page for the same model. Also I have reviews from magazine articles at the time that state the Aussie 240K GL is actually a GT model. I'd be interested in knowing what the differences are between a JDM GT and and Aussie GL are apart from what you have already mentioned What's the GT intake manifiold look like? I just picked up a 240K hardtop, but it has interior GT badges instead of GL. All external badges are missing.

Ok Some more history nobodys mentioned so far. In 1974's Hardie-Ferodo 1000 at Bathurst, A 240K was raced by Stewart McLeod and Doug Whiteford. It came second in its class (class C, class winner was an RX3) and 7th outright.

They were on the USA version of the L28. They were supposed to help cool the injectors by blowing air onto them

C210/C211 Skylines
Mr Camouflage replied to V8skylineMAN's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
If only it was that simple... it isnt. You need different rods and pistons too. A friend of mine had a C210 2000GT turbo (the L20 6 with turbo) 4 door , years and years ago. The report of the C10 in a wreckers. That would be a rare find in Australia. Was it ever confirmed. Probably a C110.
