any difference in performance?

hi guys, just looking online at some z32 afm's and am slightly confused. justjap has them individually here but without plugs. do i need the plugs or are there existing ones on the gtr? http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=1 and here they are with a pair of tomei plugs. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=2 so do i actually need to spend the extra money for the ones with plugs? also, it says they're bosch but i was under the impression that z32 afm's were made by nissan. i noticed on the nengun website that it says tomei z32 afm's but that they're made by nissan. could it just be a similar thing here? lastly, anyone else know where else i might find them? cheaper? cheers guys. sorry for asking so many questions!

hi andrew, i think i met you at an open house a while ago, i think it was your parents house? i had a white 32gtr. anyhoo, when i first bought my car i was happily getting 450k's from a tank. that's with a standard engine and a power fc, driven relatively sedately but often given a bit of poke if the driver in front is annoying me. unfortunately things have been going downhill lately and i'm lucky to get 350. dunno what's wrong but it's becoming a very expensive problem! and i've heard people getting as little as 250k's from a tank, on cars that have been more heavily modded than mine. oh and the tank is 65 litres.

are there anymore? where else would i get them? cheers!

crossed paths with (and got a wave from) a nice silver 32 gtr with bronze te37 rims. nice and tough car and good to see another 32 gtr whose back end was black from smoke. good to know i'm not alone!

yeah, was also thinking cat converter. i'll just put up with it for the time being i guess. there's a special on some gt-ss's that require my wallet's attention first! thanks guys!

yeah, noticed a couple around canberra with black rears. shoulda bought a black car.

ok, so my r32 gtr has blown black smoke pretty much since i've owned it. its only visible when it gets up past around 5k revs, but even if i don't do that and just drive sedately, by the end of the week that back of the car is pretty black. obviously the first thought is that its running rich and so far, its had a tune with a pfc, and afr is at a very lean 12.5 and had injectors checked and cleaned and its still blowing smoke. any ideas anyone? also, i'm noticing a massive drop in mileage. i used to get 450k's from a tank and now i'm getting about 380 but that's only recent. its always blown smoke though so i don't think the two are related. cheers guys, any ideas would be handy!

yeah stock turbos, running at i guess 13 or 14psi, ie boost restrictor removed. i was on the verge of getting some gt-ss's but have obviously decided against spending further on this car. the dyno graph is from when the FC was first put in. AFR is now at a very lean 12.5 (apparently this engine for some reason just doesn't want as much fuel as other rb26's) as i said before, injectors have been cleaned up and car has been retuned since, resulting in more midrange torque, but i don't have the graph for that i'm afraid though might be able to get it. cheers!

bump! decided that i didn't wanna sell it, but now i do again. no swaps though. post or pm me if anyone's interested. car specs still the same, though recently had injectors cleaned and retuned, now much bigger mid torque curve. cheers lads!

anyone ever put a gtr on gas?

hey guys, am sadly parting with the gtr due to paying over $100 a week to fill it and it not being very practical but i need some advice. basically i'm going for a hatch, probably either a mazda 3 or a golf. question though - i'm really keen on the idea of putting whatever i get on gas, but what can you put on gas? obviously the petrol cars will go fine on gas, but what about turbo petrol or turbo diesel? cheers guys!

ok, so my 32 should run tyres that are 235/45/17, but if i have tyres that are 245/45/17 (ie. an inch bigger in diameter) will that affect how attessa works? i thought it didn't matter as long as its the same all round, but when i first bought the car (it came with the 245/45) i noticed the front torque gauge never moved, but when i switched to the 235/45's it seemed to move a lot more often as i accelerated. am i crazy?

so uh looks like i did some damage. need new knuckle, bearing and hub which apparently are extremely dear from nissan. are there any wreckers anyone knows of that i might be able to score parts from?
