  1. Rear housing sizes, will spool up quicker but run out of puff up top.
  2. R35's run pretty impressive times seeing as they weigh a crapload. Found this dyno sheet of a stock R35, for anyone interested.
  3. Yeah my dads old 350rwkw GTSt could light up the tyres at 120-130kph if you wanted it to, but wouldn't spin at all when he used proper throttle control not just "mash the go pedal"

  5. Most people also don't realise how quick a 10 second car is. Fastest car i've ever been in was my dads R33 with 350rwkw, did a low-mid 11 @ 125mph which was freaking quick. Not saying this about OP, but a lot of guys go from a stock liner and think "oh i want a 10 second car hepa derpa" without knowing how quick it really is.
  6. There was a R33 GTSt for sale a while ago, had a powerglide, high stall, GT35R etc and did 10.9 or something. Apparently only 288rwkw too.
  7. You guys with mostly standard cars could also have a look at Gripforce/F1 racing clutches too, i have one in my 300ZX and they are great. They are cheap and pretty big over on the 300ZX forums, my 6 button clutch was $750 installed and has 250% clampforce increase over stock. I know that R33 GTSt and 300ZX NA clutches are interchangeable, 300ZXTT however are a fair bit bigger. Just throwing it out there, you guys don't need to spend heaps on clutches if you aren't making huge power.

  11. This is why i'm going to do one of those tuning classes at Unigroup and buy my own equipment, seems like it'll save a bit of coin and tuning is something i've always wanted to learn.

  13. Those ebay turbos are great for bush bashers . I know a guy who threw one on a old MX6 he had in the paddock, bought turbo manifold, turbo, cooler etc off ebay and got a FPR and a 12:1 vortech FMU....lasted ages with that haha

  15. Yeah love how everyone talks about "back pressure" like its the end of the world on an NA car.
  16. Yeah quite a few supra's in the US doing 24-25psi of boost with 10:1 comp on E85.
  17. There isn't really a set number, its more like how high does your tuner want to go with it. A mates R33 was on 1.5Bar for a good 4 years without a problem, only blew when he turned it up to 2bar without retuning it or anything lol.
  18. What would you suggest for a ~400rwkw setup? RB30DET....ATR46?
  19. In my opinion, if you're a p plater and you have the cash to do it, go for it. A mates SSS pulsar previously had a catback, pod & chip and was slow as anything compared to my 300ZX, recently he rebuilt it and now has shaved the head, HD valvesprings, Tomei poncams and stays at my rear bar till a good 120kph. If i wasn't so close to getting my full licence i'd do cams for sure. I was going to go 264 deg 8.9mm lift from 240 deg 8.5mm lift.
  20. Camtech here in sydney quoted me $570 for regrinds done, although thats 4 cams not 2.
  21. Would jizz myself if i got to drive that lambo.
