  1. Have a standard r33 gtst clutch here, has about a lot of meat left on it. Located in western sydney. $50 take it away.
  2. Sydney nsw. Looking for $80, just taken out of car as it has been remapped.
  3. Yeah mate, was running like a dream i'll have a look at the plugs soon, but i don't think its the case as it happened as soon as i connected the input & output wires of the safc.
  4. Its setup correctly mate, but the thing is when i removed it the car still acted the same. Only started happening after i cut the AFM signal wire and connected it to the input & output wires of the safc, but with them removed now it still does the same. BTW, one of these units
  5. Hey guys, i just tried to install my safc and i first connected the rpm, ignition power & ground and it worked fine, then i tried the airflow signal and the car was running really rough like it was running on 5cyl. I removed the wires that go to the airflow signal wire and connected the AFM signal wire back normally and the car still has the problem, it runs really rough like a wrx and dies quickly. still runs really rough with my right exhaust shaking badly and spitting what looks like small amounts of fuel out. Anyone happen to know a fix? PS: Car is a 300zx
  6. Have a read of this thread and tell me what you think. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298899 Theres no way a drivetrain will keep losing say 20%, for example a 100hp car would have 80rwhp, modify the engine to 200hp and now its losing an extra 20hp, the driveline only needs a certain amount of power to move it why would it sap an extra 20hp??
  7. Hey guys got a lightweight flywheel just sitting here, i never ended up buying a skyline so i have it just sitting here doing nothing. You will need to use your stock ring gear, has surface rust as it has been sitting but is still in good condition. Location, blacktown western sydney. Price: $100
  8. Nope the AU was in good condition as i spoke to the guy afterwards. As for being faster then a Vn i seriously doubt that, as a clapped out 300,000km 5spd VN ran a 15.8 bog standard.
  9. An NA Skyline should beat your average AU falcon or commodore(note:SHOULD) as they aren't very quick. At the drags tonight a stock AU falcon was running consistent flat 17's, however a stock EL automatic was running mid 15's the whole night with absolutely no mods. A mates VR commodore with full exhuast, extractors, V8 throttle body, bellmouth removed and shift kit ran 15.7 on his best run. Its the VN/VP commo's and EF/EL falcons that will spank an NA liner quite easily.
  10. Its on like donkey kong! well, looks are based on opinion, mines lighter then a supra so NER NER. Mines also faster then several friends supra's with similar and slightly more power and maintenance isn't a problem for my NA. soo.....please don't kill me Although both cars look like they've had their fair share of cake.
  11. Nah its ok mate, i didnt take offence i just don't like seeing the usual omg 300zx's weigh 11tybillion kg's
  12. They are a heavy car, more of a Gran Tourer then a sports car. It's also a car i wouldn't recommend for a P plater to buy, i've seen people try and "drift" them in the wet only to find out they chose the wrong car to do that sort of shit in and end up in a ditch or wrapped around a pole. Also i must add my 300ZX is a 2 seater slicktop and has a stiffer body structure then a 2+2 and is 120kg lighter then a 2+2.
  13. Umm sorry but thats complete and utter bullshit, my 300zx weighs 1420kg and makes 132rwkw so it doesn't "struggle" with anything. The heaviest 300ZX is the Targa 2+2 TT automatic which weighs 1610kg.
  14. Either highflow, Adjustable FPR or extra injectors added. 370cc Injectors will not make 300+rwkw end of story. Remember a dyno operator can make your figures whatever he wants.
  15. Weight for the NA Supra is 1460kg with 220-225hp. What you need to realise is that power:weight ratio isnt everything. Torque, gearing and driver skill all play a VERY important role.
  16. You'd need to do quite a lot of work to get an NA skyline even close to an NA supra.
  17. I'd say its your tune mate.
  18. In NSW its pretty much, no turbo = A-Okay. Doesn't matter if it was removed or DE swapped because the law states you can't drive the car based on Aspiration, not what its registered as.
  19. Wow, $8k for an 18 year old NA coupe with 210,000k's.......now i remember why i didn't bother getting an NA skyline, better off buying a turbo and dropping an rb20de in.
  20. Guys what would a R33 GTS25 manual be comparable to performance wise, straight line performance that is. I've seen an auto one have trouble pulling away from a 1.8L Lancer.
