Yeah, i'm trying to get a bunch of N/A's together and just have a good time and compare slips afterwards. So far the commodore & the magna are the only cars that look like they'll be a challenge. The commodore isn't like any other V6 one i've been in, it has stupidly high bottom end power and keeps up with higher powered cars very easily. Would be fun to get some quick N/A lines and supra's there along with whoever wants to go. If you have a turbo and want to show up feel free, i can get two or three other turbo R33's to come aswell.

Hey everyone, around february or so im getting a group of cars together to go to WSID and to have a bit of fun. They want to go to the track and test the cars to their full potential. I want to see if any N/A skylines would be interested in going, or really any N/A car that isnt over 6 cylinders(trying to keep it somewhat fair). Current cars going: My 300ZX -catback,pod,chip,UDP 131.4rwkw 5spd man - will have SAFC+tune by then VR V6 - Bellmouth removed, Catback, Intake(pod,cai,tb pipe) 4spd auto SSS - Catback & Pod - 5spd man Lancer 1.8L Sedan - 4spd auto Lancer 1.5L Coupe -Catback, pod+tb pipe - 5spd man 2004 Magna ES 3.5L - Stock - 4spd auto Alfa romeo 156 Selespeed - Auto Cars MAYBE going: VL N/A - exhaust,pod, extractors - 5psd manual 300ZX Targa - pod - 4spd auto I'm doing this in february as thats the earliest everyone will be free to go. Also as most of us are new to this, expect a bunch of 17 second slips yes yes, the P plate brigade is going to race, but atleast we're doing it legally!

The standard AFM can only detect a certain amount of airflow, and upgrade to the Z32 when pushing 250+rwkw(i think) Don't put bigger injectors in till you upgrade your turbo, the standard items are good for about 240rwkw+

I've heard people make stupid claims of 220rwkw, but i suspect 170-180rwkw MAX.

When did Stock r33 GTSt's make 180kw? Mate take a 180rwkw NA+t against a 180rwkw DET and the +t will leave it miles behind.

You'll get a lot more midrange with them, and maybe pick up 3-5kw in the top end.

1800kg? what are you stupid? Mines a 2 seater manual slicktop ~1420kg. Even the heaviest 2+2 Auto TT 300ZX weighs 1610kg not 1800, i suggest next time you should actually know what your talking about before you go and try to make yourself sound like a hero . Also thats 131 rear wheel kw, about the same as an auto GTS25t(although probably not as fast).

I don't undertand why you'd want to swap motors in the first place when you already have an N/A skyline?

Yeah they are heavy as shit, the 4 seater Targa tops especially they're like 1520kg for the N/A Variant.

You both drive GTR's, when both of you come across a big hp supra on the highway, you'll know its karma catching up! JOKING!

Well no magna i've come across has been able to "beat me" as of yet. I never exactly said it was the fastest P plater car but it is pretty quick for an NA. Hell a mates standard R33 GTSt (catback,pod) can only get half a car on me, but he isn't exactly the best driver. In any case can't wait till i go ported plenum w/ SR20 TB's, Extractors&frontpipes Done and a proper tune.

If it was me i wasn't racing, im not quite stupid enough to go up against a bike.

Mines a 2 seater slicktop, weighs the same as an R34 GTT.

Well my 300ZX is 131rwkw so it's not slow by any means.

Just the amount of people who believe they need to be first at the next set of lights is beyond me.

Ever since i got my 300ZX, i kid you not, i have had someone try to drag me at every second set of lights. It's mostly wankers in V6 commodores that think they are michael shumacher but i have had others, including older people like an old woman in a mazda 6. So tell me do you skyline boys get the same treatment?

Actually in NSW its engine performance modifications that require an engineer cert that are illegal, things like engine swaps etc they don't really care about exhausts(as long as they are under 90db) or any other minor mods.

They're good fmic's if you want to keep the stock piping. This one is on a mates car, got no idea what brand it is or anything but it went well with a GT2535 and 1.5Bar.
