  1. Yeah well my mate isn't exactly the smart type when it comes to those sort of thing. He has trouble overtaking 1.5L daewoo's and hyundai's.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW1h9EDGdJg R33 GTR, bog stock - professional drivers 12.77
  3. Whatever you do, please don't even think about getting a gts25t and "taking the turbo off" or anything like that. Made of mine got a GTS25t and tried it, it made 65rwkw
  4. Cat converter maybe? btw get a youtube vid, i'm curious to see how this thing sounds.
  5. Haha, i know of quite a few people with the "B" problem. A mate of mine isn't allowed a 6 cylinder car or a two door. My dad on the other hand was going to buy me a GT35R powered R33, but a nice "financial situation" put a big stop to that.
  6. The GTS25t IS a better car then the N/A and everyone knows that, i never said otherwise. Just saying that an N/A skyline has plenty of power for its small displacement and can hold its own. Everyone has their own opinions.
  7. Oh and to the guy that said he'd like to see an N/A pull a 14.7 here u go: 14.60 with Exhaust & Cat Back. Congrats to the driver.
  8. That's funny since i know of numerous N/A skylines that have left all types of commodores back 3-4 cars. An N/A skyline has more power and is lighter than a commodore V6(VN 125kw - R33 140-147kw). So any driver with half a brain could chop one.
  9. Just wondering guys, is it true that Automatic GTS25t's run less boost that Manual ones? I've read that they only have a 5psi actuator compared to the manual 7psi one.
  10. Yes above items are already in my budget. As for timing, i dont know.....i'm planning to keep the DET Ecu running the show and then when cashflow is a bit better an emanage would go nicely.
  11. Ok so i have a list of most things i'm getting, if theres anything else i should add let me know. Turbo - RB25 Item Oil & water Lines charge piping XR6 cooler + charge pipes GTR Fuel Pump Clutch - Exedy or better? GTSt Ecu GTSt Injectors Splitfires I can get the Turbo, cooler + pipes, fuel pump and clutch within a short time but the other parts will have to wait.
  12. All up parts are costing me ~$900(thanks to getting some freebies ) and i can do most of the work myself. I'm Budgeting around 2,000 because i'm also going to go for redrilled to 4 stud GTSt Disks.
  13. Series 1 R33, catback exhaust and filter. For a Front mount i was thinking about an XR6 cooler, since both pipes go to one side and i can get them for pretty cheap aswell. I'm getting some really cheap parts like 370cc injectors, GTS25t Ecu and AFM but i'm gunna have to wait to pick them up.
  14. Hey everyone was wondering if it was possible on relatively low boost (~5psi). Mechanic i spoke to said that a low boost setup would be ok for a short time aslong as i got atleast a GTR fuel pump. So tell me, is this true or is this mechanic blowing steam out his arse.
  15. Yes it will fit, the muffler will stick out slightly though.
  16. wrong, a GTS makes 140 at the flywheel and weighs 1310kg.
  17. Bump, still for sale guys. sms me on 0405691220 if your interested.
  18. Hey all im looking for a manual R33 coupe upto around $8,000 or so, let me know what you have.
  19. Can re-assemble car if requested.
  20. Price drop to 5,000 non neg.
  21. Bump, have 95% of the parts for the car to be complete.
  22. Hey mate, really interested. If i manage to sell my car soon i'll come take a look.
  23. I was going to do the setup myself, but for the amount of money it costs it is better to do a conventional setup.
