I did the Coke can job, and it worked a treat. I also installed one of Bass Junkys silicon inlet pipes. I have had no driveability issues and i also notcied better pick up between gears. Perhaps less boost leak from standard BOV? I also cleaned the AAC valve which may have helped as i had idle hunting issues. All gone now.

I was having the exact same thoughts. VL turbos in decent nick are rare so they will fetch $$. The reason why ya cant get much $$ for your Skyline is because of that....you're selling it...and so are so many other people. So if ya put plenty of cash into it, then keep it. They are good cars with lots of potential. If youre gettin bored, im sure there is something you can do to it to keep ya interested.

Installed mine today. Took about 3 hours and is a pain in the arse, but noticed a little low down pick up and better throttle response.

205rwk with exhaust, FMIC and 12psi boost. Is that just a happy dyno or have you left a Power FC off that list of mods...?

Mine fit snugly at the rear. Is it only a problem for certain models? Mines a S2 96 R33 GTST.

Well you ensured that it would be sorted, it wasn't going to be an issue, so i bought one before they get discontinued too. I mean why wait until the VCT was sorted? WHat other option was there to buy? So i have it now, and getting installed Monday. Just wondering if there are other people who need this sorted too. Has anyone gone this route or is it just me who is waiting?

Yep i was with Just Car, and they were shit. I hadnt made a claim and when it came to paying my new premium they had increased it. Simply because Skylines had been in more prangs or more had been knocked off so, everyone that owns one, gets screwed rather than rewarding those who dont claim. I had been a rating one and been with them for years too! Thats why i went to Shannons. Agreed value, $16,500 for R33 GTST with mild mods. Choice of repairer etc.

According to Nengun website, APexi may be closing down completely, so when they say they have discontinued certain models, i think thats what it means... So...Cubes, hows the VCT issue coming.
