  1. Very interested in the labor cost at the of the day, you need to budget and at least have ball park figure

WOW big dollar spend GTR, that actually geting USED.... now this is rare and nothing is blowing up either i looked at the videos, "you photos needs a bit of work mate" and thought to my self god he must be running a Dog box or something and read Transmission : Standard Getrag 6 Speed Ogura Quad plate clutch how on earth does the standard Getrag keep up with this much POWER , "i must abuse mine a bit more now" if you can build this car then you can get a guy to take some nice photos of that engine bay

  4. interested as a future upgrade, hopefully will tally up nice with the my -9 turbos upgrade later this year noob questions, will this KIT comes with all the bits that normally constitute a "RB26 mid life freshen up " so that all you need is oil pump, coil pack,water pump,etc does anyone know budget for install of such a kit GOAL - only after super responsive Street GTR with loads of torque, Power around 280AWKW range, so not much
  5. this is turning out to be quite a tread i see XXXXXX being slammed and now XXXXXX is being accused of customer service !!!!!!! just speaking with my own experience.... importing is a very SLOW process "2 cars now" SAU has being around for sometime and all through that time 90% people have recommended all above mentioned brokers it only natural for any business have bad days and have few pissed off clients as for financial advise not sure something like R34 GTR is always going to be expensive proposition and that even if you get the car for free i owned R33 GTST, V35 before but the GTR is quite a bit more expensive to deal with, so unless you can afford maintenance and upkeep.. it best to wait till you can when i was going through auctions with J-Spec, there were tons of R34 GTR and V-Spec 1/2 (NUr and M-Spec different, but i was not looking at them) so there not going to run out anytime soon as for the Car, i waited almost 5 months from signing up with J-Spec to me in the car "ask chris " but it was bloody worth it - GTR34 is a kind beast

  7. i am amazed at the fact that 11 skylines managed to not get fined for speeding.. that means there were just cruising so it that illegal now in VIC also You guys really do live in a Policed State Thank God QLD is not there yet, but would not take long to catchup i would think
  8. i am no expert but it goes like this -5 AKA HKS 2530 - Good top end and good response also in RB26 with build internals and head work / Stroked engine, but for normal RB26 with stock internals / street driven a bit laggy, "this laggyness is not always clearly shown in a Dyno apparently, but noticeable on the road" when compared others. lot of people with -5 street driven and loving it -7 AKA Nissan R34 N1 - good response and good balance of power for Street driven GTR , but by no means a bragging rights turbo when it comes to numbers -9 AKA GT-SS - best response and good power for street package, but will run out of puff in the top end, better and new technology than -7 and most recommended for street package with mostly stock internals -10 AKA GT-RS - big power figures and not so recommended for street GTR without built engine. I will be getting -9 end of the year, not really interested in any thing else, unless -7 comes up in the forums for really good price Just my 2C Also check out single turbo conversion side of the world, if your thinking of GT-RS level of turbos..... all around, good choice we have in GTR world i think
  9. I have used J-Spec twice now once in 2009 to import V35 Premium Coupe and in 2010 to bring in daddy of all imports R34 GTR V-Spec I was very happy both times and J-Spec has being very helpful of cause importing means it's lot of time waiting regardless of who your importing with

Nur will be almost impossible to do for 50K mark and i am talking about importing here was going through the auctions not long ago for a V-Spec so i sort of know the prices and very few Nur go via auction and there are bloody expensive you can get V-Spec 2 for that money if you wait a bit of time

  13. only owned my R34 for month and a bit now, but it is very loud and suspension is shocking and breaks are loud too so hardly i call practical.... thank god it only a weekend toy and have my trusty corolla for daily duties PS - suspension being replaced next week and looking in to adding mid muffler to quieten her down, should stop my complaints a bit
  14. was in the same boat when i was selling my V35 end of last year; everyone for some reason things that V35 can be brought for free !!!! understand that there is too many if them for sale considering the target market for imports Look for a bumper in Import monster and get a red one, if you have the patience you will find one eventually, so you can fit it your self
