Well it's got $1500.00 worth of a/mkt ECU & $1800.00 worth of dedicated DR30 JIC Coil Overs on all 4 corners. Are you going to give me $5000.00 for it, or I keep the ECU & Coil Overs and sell off the bits?????

Improved Production? Will CAMS allow S13 front suspension in this class and if they do remember if you have just 1 ROSE JOINT it will send you to sports sedan, no pass go, no collect 200, straight to sports sedan where the big bangers live. Cheers, D -
Hi All, My time has come! The purple DR30 is being parted out and the factory Paul Newman show winner is up for grabs. My factory Paul Newman version is arguably the only factory standard HR30 in Australia and most certainly the best, so if anyone is interested drop me a PM, or those that know it, give me a call. My new toy climbs mountains instead of cruising over them. Cheers, Dennis

Looking To Borrow Wheels / Tyres To Take My R34 Gtr To Wsid
Ghostrider replied to nomnomv8's topic in New South Wales
I used to have an MX83 Cressida with a 1UZFE V8 conversion and I went out with SAU/V8 Owners day and I was running 15.5 all day long coming off the line at idle on stock tyres and it took me over 3 months of practice to run a 14.709 and I had 156Kw at the wheels, LSD, 245/45 x 16 Toyo TEO Plus road tyres @ 24psi and for this I had the car up onto 2300rpm to come off the line. It aint so simple as I thought. I never ran it again after that, just wanted to prove I could do something with it and I was pretty impressed with the look on the face of the HSV driver in the next lane that did a 14.9?? Sold the car on to someone that sorta stuffed it for mine. Now my newest toy climbs mountains lol Cheers, D -

Isn't the idea of these to take the flex out of the rear cross member by filling in the gap between the cross member and body? Cheers, D

I might have a spare, but haven't you got an short nose viscous R200 LSD? The back plates of long nose mechanical R200 have a diferent and narrower mount studs to later R32, S13, S14 etc R200's. Cheers, D -

Afm Position With Turbo Build
Ghostrider replied to r3volt21's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
As Ben says, the stock L24E AFM aint worth a pinch of pelican poop and further to that, the air box is a dudd too! It will all depend on what you have planned, but a stockish look to confuse the NSW law, you will have to have an air box of sorts. The DR30 air box is the best, along with a DR30/FJ20ET AFM would be my pick. The DR30 air box flows heeps more air than the L24E will. Failing this, you're going to have to enclose a pod filter attached to your AFM. The ECU is your biggest and foremost issue, as it has to have a feed for the AFM. My suggestion is find an after market ECU, but it also depends on what state you have to pass registration in. Cheers, D -

I built an 1/32 scale E Type Jag once, in my teenage years. Cut the doors and bonnet out with a jewelers hacksaw & swung them on custom wire hinges. I still have the frame, just not having much luck getting blades for it. D -

The issue with this strip is bubbling rust forming under the rubber and the pics are inconclusive, so you are the only person that can say if it's clean or not, or take a series of close up pics. Cheers, D -

1984 R30 Hatchback Ti Questions
Ghostrider replied to atko's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
ALL of the R30's sold by Nissan in Australia were 6cyl 2.4E versions and you're right, the economy is fairly poor off the shelf. To my knowledge we in Aus never got the 1.8 version unless by private import. As for the N10 Pulsar ...... Are you an enthusiast, or do you want just a car to drive? That N10 is farely rare in that form (coupe) and with 189K on the dial and from the description, I think it's a GEM. I had a 2 door sedan once and it was a fun thing and with a little bit of effort you could make it something special. And they are quite economical. Remember though, it's a small car and if you need a car the size of a Skyline, the N10 wont cut the mustard, but if you're looking for something as a get about, you van do a lot worse. If you have the money, grab it before I go to Tassie and beat you to it. Cheers, D -

Just love the high tech spraying jig and of course the refreshments. I just used my hand, but that makes a lot of sense. Well done! Might just copy it myself for future adventures. -
