  1. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm not too bad looking. Wonder who was the recipient of the gearbox swap?????
  2. Where is this significant to an ignition barrel????? Lower control arms for what????? R30? Go buy them NEW for about $70 a side from your local parts shop. They are Taiwanese copies but every bit as good as the OEM part & you get new ball joints and inner bush. D
  3. Give me a call if it don't, I'm sure to find a spare in amongst the shit I have. D
  4. Ever thought of colour coding the outer areas and just having the light circles?
  5. Another grand plan from the GUNNA eh?????????
  6. My early bird was sent away yesterday, so I'll be there for sure. Now the race is on to get the cars ready for this event. Cheers, D
  7. Standard S1 as I can see. You never seen these??? D
  8. Somebody has placed a bid on this car on ebay @ the opening price of $6000.00 but hasn't reached the reserve.
  9. Cazz, A thousand per side wouldn't buy any of mine. D
  10. You still got the bootlid? See PM sent yesterday
  11. Cazz, Do you know what spring rates are in the back of your #30 car?
  12. Wonder who scored them ................................ was it CAZZ for her PJR car?????????
  13. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...utorefresh=true DR30 Hot Plates on ebay, just ended @ $202.50 AND these were not MINT, they had minor blemishes & small cracks in them, so I guess the sky is the limit for these style of tail lights. Makes my mint pairs worth over $400 easy. Cheers, D
  14. And Jon, this thread started as an EAZY brake conversion, not the mamoth task your entering into for just about nil benefit.
  15. Why on earth would you want this amount of braking power on an DR30? You planning entering this car in Le Mans or something??? The DR I'm building will have stock DR rears, 10" DR booster, DR 1" m/cyl & BNR32 GTR fronts and I'm sure I will easily pull it up from 220~240kph. Sounds like a lot a fart arsing about for next to no real benefit. Wouldn't your time & effort be better utilised making the car handle & steer better????? What size wheels and tyres do you plan using with this brake set up????????? D
  16. Doing what you could be doing around Wakefield and enjoying it??????? Must have been a dry day for the GT40 to come out, as it doesn't like the rain. You need a rain coat or umbrella to sit in it when it's raining to stay dry, coz it leaks like a sieve. And haven't seen an 105E Anglia for years. I used to race against them with 289 V8's in them at Warwick Farm. Was this car V8 powered? D
  17. Just a small query to this list. 6/10/87 Sandown & 8/10/87 Bathurst? How can this be, or maybe you made a typo and Sandown be 10/6/87 huh ???????? Cheers, D

  19. The silver car at the top carries Ti badges, but the car we got in Australia (RMR30) was in fact the "PASSAGE" considered to be the very top of the four (4) door range. D
  20. Mags! You are partially correct. There are two (2) styles of S1 tail lights and both of them are in the pics below. D
  21. Don't have a scanner working at present, but maybe these pics will suffice. D
  22. And the gentleman in picture 2 in the block of 4 pictures, just happens to be 66yostagea. The car that you so diligently show as proof to these black S1 lights your so wanting to prove exist, is Harry's old car hrd-hr30 on this very forum. The car is now owned by Patrick Hastings in Newcastle and it was looked at by Hugh & myself at Harry's home in Queensland during one of my many visits, back in 2006 and I have over 30 pictures of it. The car in the background of the above 2 pics, just happens to be a V8 Toyota Cressida carrying NSW rego DWG-666 that you know well, at that time having Lexus LS400 wheels. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm penny for your thoughts ???????????????????????????????????? D
  23. And Mags, this is a picture of the SAME car you show as an example of these black tail lights you are so fond to prove me wrong about, but from a diferent angle. You may recognise the car in the background? Cheers, D
  24. Well sir! You have finally fallen on your sword?lol I wonder if you would consider the following as evidence to your claims as well. And just for the record, these black S1 tail lights DO NOT appear in any JDM sales brochure I have and not in the Nismo Special Parts, or Jenesis, or Nissan option parts brochures either. Cheers, D
  25. Dunno about that! You would suggest these are coil overs when the only hieght adjustment is in the length of the spring. D
