Mmmmmmmm, there interesting figures. Not common to use staggered inlet & exhaust on n/a motors here in Oz. Very common in US on turbo L28's. Mine isn't that big, but fairly considering I'm adding boost, all be it rather low @ under a bar. Will be interested to see how it turns out & what figures it produces. Cheers, D

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheaper and a bit stupid for my money. Lessen the od and you loose it's strength because ANY heat will be detrimental to it's tensile load capabilities. Might only be $30 for the machining, but how much for the new heat treatment to return it to something resembling original???? Wouldn't it be easier & better in the long term to buy the SWR 5/8 (16mm) alternative for $195 set including new poly bushes and crush tubes. Cheers, D

The purple car is very likely to end up black & red, much the same as the Advan car in Japan. As I have to paint the bonnet, o/s/f guard and drivers door, I figure I might as well do the n/s/f guard & passenger side door as well. If we cant get a good match to the existing purple, it's going to be black. Cheers, D

What do you call a "near perfect stone guard" and where you getting your Holset from? I have an Holset HE40 fully reco'ed you can have cheap, but it needs an wastegate actuator, as the one supplied doesn't fit. Cheers, D

Yep, probably do. Looks heaps like a N12/B11 Pulsar. Got a preferrence of colour coz I probably got Brown, Grey & Black maybe. Cheers, D

John, Just walk in to ANY of your local parts outlets, Autopro, maybe Repco, Auto One, Pep's etc etc and ask for MR30 front lower control arms and specify the Taiwanese Import and they will get them for you. I will post pics and part numbers on packs later when more time. Cheers, D

It's an S1 Jarryd, 81/82 model. When you decide to sell it, give me a call, parts are always handy to have. Your old DR is progressing steadily, got heaps of pics on progress and will start up a new thread when I find the cable to download them off the memory card. I'm waiting on bits from Fantasy Performance, like bigger turbo, O'ring fuel rail for 770cc injectors, V band dump pipe adaptor, and getting some bits made here in NSW to go with my HKS Hi Mount and 41mm TIAL ext wastegate. I'm going with a straight through exhaust, firstly through a 3" hot dog, then straight out the left side in front of rear wheel. Ext wastegate is also venting to atmosphere along with huge type 3 Turbosmart BOV. Should make heaps of fun noises on the track. Cheers, D

Nigel, Near on everything mechanical & electrical is good to sell. Ebay is a lucky dip, you can get a sqillion for some things and SFA for others and usually the opposite to what you are thinking. Genuine Ti rims are a good seller & for everyone out there Stewart Wilkins will pay reasonable dollars for all he can get. He uses them on Zed rally cars he prepares, as one car might go out with 4 or 5 sets of rims. Rear trailing arms, especially disc brake models are a good spare as they can get bent, fronts don't worry about as the new Taiwan option @ about $70 each is a better deal. As has been suggested, put up a list of what you have or are prepared to pull off and let whoever pay the freight if they want it badly enough. The guys on this forum know I buy near on everything R30 off ebay, that I don't have already for spares as the plan is for my PNV to stay in the family for generations to come. My 24yo daughter has already put her hand up for it when I'm dedd and I'm sure my son would do the same. Cheers, D

Wouldn't common sense tell you to use the equal size out as the diameter of the throttle body? As far as inlet (from turbo compressor) goes, opening up to intercooler pipe diameter, I think would be the go. Just remember, as air cools, it becomes more dense and therefore needs more space to move at the same speed. Cheers, D
