  1. Thanks heaps mate. I didnt think there would be a problem with pulling them apart, other wise they wouldnt make them that way. Dave
  2. There is a small plastic seal thats it. Dave
  3. I was also replacing the seal between the two halves. Yeah I know how to get the pistons out, I have all ready reco'ed the rears. Holden stuff is so much easier. Can get the rebuild kit from just about anywhere, and is a piece of piss to work on. Dave
  4. You need to pull the two halves apart to rebuild them tho. Why is everything to do with a Skyline so difficult!? Thanks for the tip, see what they have to say. Dave
  5. Two quick questions, im using the R33 GTS-t calipers on my VN SS and am wondering: 1) What torque are the 4 bolts that hold the two halves of the caliper together done up to? 2) Where can you get a caliper rebuild kit from? I have tried AutoBarn, AutoOne and Nissan them selves (this was bullshit, guy said cause its an import model they cant get them ) Cheers Dave
  6. I just pulled the R33 GTS-t calipers of mine apart and there was the shims from behind the pads, but also a smaller one on one side only. Its not square it tappers off to one end. Just wondering what this is? Dave
  7. Any front calipers off the R34 GT-t at all? Dave
  8. Looking for the above, calipers only. Any condition. PM me if you have any. Dave
  9. Thanks heaps mate. Now to decied what ones to use. The R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t calipers look the same to me.......... AirStrike
  10. Hmmmmmm..............Any one know how to differenciate the calipers from each other? Dave
  11. Cheers Mate. Dont want to go too expensive on the brakes I think the 4 spots will surfice. So with the R32gtr and R33gtst they use the same rotor, but is the caliper the same? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 I was thinking something like this? Also will the calipers I listed above fit on a 343mm rotor? I know I can fit them on a 330mm with out any problems......... Hell anything is an improvment over stock! 289x23mm with a single piston caliper! Cheers Dave
  12. Hey all just a quick question. I am building up a VN SS show/circuit car and have decieded on using the 4 piston calipers as found on the Skyline range. My question, is there any difference in the calipers between the models or was the same caliper used? Did the new ones accept a larger disc, etc. Also is there a difference with say the gts-t and gt-r, etc I will be using HSV 343x32 rotors with these. Thankx Dave
