  1. good son of rajab!!.. You can almost buy another R34 GTR for that kind of money.
  2. ok.. thats not it. Boost is running standard @ 7psi. Boost controller works fine also. hmmmmm.....? Could it be the hotter plugs I had before made the car more responsive?
  3. I think I might've found the problem. All this time I thought the car is running on stock boost level (7psi), but now I suspect its actually running at around 9psi. Maybe? When the car is sitting idle, the stock GTR boost gauge shows the needle is around the middle in the last block, very slightly more towards -7 (x100hhmg). The HKS evc3 is showing 483 - 493 mmhg. Is this the normal reading or higher reading? I have yet to record the reading when the car is hitting full boost. Will try that later.
  4. I serviced my car last weekend, changed oil, oil filter, tranny oil, transfer oil and spark plugs. I didn't have enough time to do the diff and the fuel filter. Anyway, car now seems to be running sluggish than before and uses more fuel. The plugs I took out were platinums with heatrange 5 and I believe they were gapped at 11. I replaced them with some copper ones but colder BCPR6E-11s. Car is a 32GTR and running stock boost level. Should I gap the plugs down to 0.8?
  5. I've searched the forum for about an hour looking for info about fluid choices for a 32GTR. I've nailed it down to pretty much everything except the diff and transfer case oils as I couldn't find much information about it. In a 94 R32 GTR. - How much diff oil does it take for front and rear? - How much does transfer case take? - Which brand/model of oil? - General direction on filling it up. i.e. where the filler hole is ....etc Much appreciated guys.
  6. 32GTR has a 72L tank. I get about 400k when the fuel light comes on with mixed highway/ street driving (30/70) around the 15L/100K mark. Stock car except for the exhaust.
  7. yea.. had a single plate brass button when I bought my 180 as my 1st car and it was real bitey as well. I had to learn how to drive manual in it. :-p But once I get the hang of it, the instant engagement is defitnitly worth it. Still a bit scary when you are on a steep hill thou.
  8. You just need a new headunit. I got some japanese minidisc headunit and it would only pick up from 90 to 95.
  9. If you haven't changed your fuel filter for a while. Try changing it as well.
  10. It is adjustable at both ends where the bar meets the mounting plate. It is threaded there with a nut, so you can adjust it.
  11. I WILL NOT POST, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. Item: Genuine Nismo 32GTR REAR Strut Brace Age: Unknown Condition: Good Price: $60 FIRM!! To Fit: Skyline R32 GTR or maybe GTST?? Location: Canterbury, Sydney Contact: Rob 0424 68 5678 Comments: Great condition apart from minor spot surface rust on the strut mounting plate, no rust on the bar itself since it is alloy. It is adjustable and better than those 80 dollar ones from china.
  12. I have no idea m8. If you have a decent set of speakers positioned well, good amps and good deadening, then I dont think there is going to be too much difference in sound quality between the kenwood and alpine. Although I wish they had BBE enhancement. Makes mp3 files sounds heaps better. Like I said, that kenwood unit is reasonably priced. You'll always pay more if you want better ones.
  13. Its on the Kenwood website. Not sure if these new model's has GPS built in or not, because the 07 model did not and you have to buy a seperate GPS box. http://au.kenwood.com/Car_Entertainment/Vi...gation_Systems/ I believe the older US model DNX7100, that goes for about 900 bux AUD delivered from ebay US, has GPS built in and you just upgrade the maps via the SD card. See the link below. I'm unsure about the newest model thou. http://www.mobileelectronics.com.au/forums...536797&st=0 This is somthing I'm looking into as well.. I want a double din unit with GPS, DVD and good audio output, 6.5" or 7" screen....etc update: ok.. So it seems the aussie version of DNX7320 (latest model) has builtin GPS with garmin maps, and you can get optional tv tuner. Pretty well priced as well.. I think I might get it. Even though it is only 2v pre-out http://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-DNX7320-In-...n-p/dnx7320.htm
  14. The gear stick thread pitch for a 32GTR, is it 12 x 1.25??
  15. Front Coil ======== Upper OD = 113.95 Lower OD = 108.25 # of Coils = 9.25 Wire OD = 12.85 Rear Coil ======= Upper OD = 125.00 Lower OD = 112.25 # of Coils = 5.25 Wire OD = 13.7 Thanks. :-)
  16. Stage 1 and 2 means nothing without you taking the actual exam and pass it. I've gone through all 4 stages of ccna and did my exam and passed. Do it while its still fresh in your mind I would say. The longer you wait, the less motivated you are. Start off small, 36k - 40k helpdesk role are relatively easy to get, but if you can land one in a big company, it'll be a plus. You'd be amazed how much skill you'll actually pick up by just doing helpdesk stuff. Then in your spare time, get as many IT certs as possible and apply for a nother role either within the same company or a different company. You'll most defitnitly get a healthy pay rise from doing that. I'm speaking from my personal experience. Btw, half the time you are not getting a response from recruiter is because of your resume, the other half is because you do not fit the technical profile.. Make it as professional as you can and you MUST have a cover letter for every resume you send.
  17. The kit and wheel is not to my taste. But others might like it. Nice color thou. Which year and series? Any other work done to the engine? If not, I'd say about 18k - 20k max. With a rebuilt motor, probabaly a little bit more.
  18. f**k I only just found this out this morning and was fearing for the worst, but now the good news!! That is awesome guys. This defitnitly couldn't have happened without the help of everyone spreading the words. This reminded me of a similar incident in the US where a GTR was also stolen and one of the person on the forum spotted the car and took a picture of the thief which eventually led to his arrest..... the claw i think thats what he was called coz he's only got 2 fingers or somthing.... We need all the details guys!. Who did it, how they did it....etc Those f**kers needs to have their fingers chopped off.
  19. Same thing happens to me. What I did was, switch car off, restart car and as soon as it starts, hold the off button and it should work. I believe you have to press it within 3 seconds. Ok, So I've tested everything and all the sensors seems to be fine and so is everything else. But it still blows warm air, even if I set the temp to 18c, or hold on the cold for "fast cool". I've used the recirculate button as well, just can't get it to blow cold air? Could it be that I need to regas the system? How did I check if I need a regas and how much?
  20. Nope. they arn't festoon type. They are the "twist and turn" type. any idea what model they might be, its not written on the actual unit.
  21. just wondering if anyone knows what type of globes are used in the front cabin light (2 globes operated by buttons) in a 32GTR? I want to replace them with LED lights.
  22. Got some 180sx kit from them a while ago, and it was crap. Quality is nothing like the one on the website, took me ages to get them to fit. At the end of the day, you get what you paid for.
  23. Hey dude. Whats the condition like for both inner door cards? Does it come with window switches? i'm also after both lower rear c pillar moulds (if thats what they are called, the bit below the rear quarter window).
