  1. Just Jap has brand spanking new 33R ones for ~$1100 http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=1
  2. Unlucky mate, my water pump just had a leak until I replaced it
  3. You can use much smaller batteries(motorbike batteries etc), but they will only last a few cranks. Price to pay for the weight saving. Once the car is running, the alternator supplies all power to various pieces, so size of battery once running is non issue.
  4. lol @ bump Is it a big list? have a mate who I keep in contact with who can probably translate it, as long as its not a novel
  5. Ditto lol... I also found my old nemesis speed cut on the way back.
  6. Filling a battery with water doesn't necessarily help the battery if its on its way out. Id say the battery is a goner, especially if the car is fine if you jump start it.
  7. No fixed rates... many variables to work out prices. Do a search, the subject has been killed.
  8. lol, i did it on grass with a paver under the jack... I just made sure I stuffed something under the car near where I was working, like a spare wheel in case the jack fails.
  9. Easier then, jack the front up, get oil tray, undo sump plug... dodge the black gold river. Redo sump plug, fill right amount of oil back in, usually a nice big filler on the engines head- use a funnel or a cut 2L coke bottle.
  10. There are two that I know of in OZ, XSpeed In WA, and one in NSW. AFAIK C-Red doesn't
  11. lol In my old car I could change oil without ramps, just need a decent oil catch tray, did it on the front lawn Sounds like the cars got a lot off problems, just run it into the ground and buy another $100 bunky
  12. What sites has this cruise been posted on? Just to get an idea of the crowd. Any chance on a similar pm mate RE: General Direction? Cheers. Was looking for a cruise this w/e
  13. Tenegah are usually quite good on prices, but I would of gone the adapter harness from the outset. Actually I would of gone Nistune, esp. on a 32.
  14. harness adaptor ftw! no where near that price... you could do it yourself for $200 with a generic adaptor & a lil know how. Money for tune would only be right for drastic setup changes(much larger turbos, cams etc), otherwise I'd be looking elsewhere mate.
  15. I'm feeling a lil emo right now, so Lost Prophets song "4:AM Forever" fits the bill very well right now.
  16. Wouldn't know, don't date girls that can fit an rb26 up there.
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sp...ml#entry3965257 I got mine there, great price, was next day delivery and top guys to deal with
  18. You just after the hood you mean? ~$130 new from Nissan, got one for a mate last year. If you already have the gauges/hood and want to upgrade guages, just get the Nismo replacement one, should only be a 30 minute changeover instead of messing around with individual gauges.
  19. nizmonut, I'll add one I know of... 1st gen Ford Probe, converted to rwd + 2JZGTE = sub 9 second 1/4 mile passes
  20. Keep the gas tank in the boot, and remove the petrol one so you can run dual exhausts like the HKS Zero-R
  21. Problems you explained are what I'd expect running an rb25 ecu on an rb20. The ecu's are virtually interchangeable except for the VVT, but the tune will be vastly different, hence you car running like shit. Just go get the ecu its supposed to have, as the previous owner most probably had an aftermarket ecu, which he kept and put in the closest thing that worked(or didn't).
