Just leave the car running, or have a battery charger on if at home, when playing with stereo. Normal batteries are fine, dont spend more than $100, and get something with a decent warranty. Dual battery systems aren't worth it for anything but show cars, cruisers etc. due to extra weight it would add to something like the GTR. Perhaps a heavy duty low voltage cutout would be a good compromise. Anything under 10V = battery death, you may be fine, or you might not. Don't be suprised if it works fine for a few months then dies unexpectantly.

I want a high 5.... Sound like whoever wired the gauge up, wired the ACC trigger to permanent 12V+. If its LED based it won't kill your battery anytime soon, but if its incandescent based, start saving for a new battery if you leave it to long.

lol, since when did the Japanese have left hand drive? USDM VH45DE Engine is a piece of shit & LHD, all others are RHD.

Go a VH41DE, superior motor, except the 0.4 displacement... the blocks are the same so you can "stroke" it back to 4.5 using the VH45 inners. If you do get a VH45, for the love of god don't get the USDM version, its a bucket of shit compared to JDM. R32 would be better choice as it would give better weight distibution than the rb, would leave you with more room to work on the bitch to But the VH45 is about the same weight as an SR20DET if you include the turbo running gear, so the weight itself doesn't change just where it sits. Search for NIStune, it is a realtime tunable board for the stock ecu, quite reasonable in the face of power fcs etc. IMHO, it will be easier/cheaper to buy N1s/GTSS or equiv. and sell the 34R turbos, than muck around high flowing them. That said they are not that bad turbos, i've got a set on my 32R

Just helping out a mate, I was wondering if someone had the pinout for the stacker connection (8 pin) on the standard r34 GTT tape deck (Xanavi) ? I've got a spare connector from a paperweight/GTR gps unit, and if anyones done this before if theres any tricks? Its so he can connect his iPod up to the stock HU(for audio), with a video lead going to an LCD display. Much appreciated.
