  1. Yeah already got the Blatz consult cable, but in the same boat as you But seriously, look at the ASUS EEE 900 for carpc, good spec and that thing is fckn tiny, easy fit in the glovebox with space to spare. Price is agreeable to. Im looking at the Alpine so it integrates better with my existing setup better, but if you get a good usb soundcard, Lilliput or Xenarc make good & cheap touchscreens. As always mp3car.com is your friend
  2. Can't you just trim the frame of the bonnet? Wouldn't that be enough? I've seen pics of Jap drag cars that have completly removed the framing to save weight.
  3. Try here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html I agree with R32 Driver's thought, but I'll add if you manage to take out the block some how, its a good excuse for a 25/30 build
  4. Now thats a Stagea Makes me want something more "practical" than the GTR...
  5. Theo Woolet's [ON EDGE] Drag 32 GTR runs stock rims with slicks, if you can find out what hes running.... and even if he's only running semi slicks, hes doing 8 second passes in them.
  6. Lol... or need to look at it for more than a 1/10th of a second. Thanks for the pickup, my next English assignment will be an A+ Mint under 30K Skyline GTR of any make, here or Japan, is a good find. Someone got a bargain @ $24K IMHO.
  7. Who'd do such a thing? *cough* Bubba *cough* *cough*

    A Duck

Mike has now pleased the duck monster, your first born will now be spared.
  9. Damn funny so far... be cautious reading this around women
  10. The new R35 GTR is a clutch-pedal-less manual, dsg box ftw!
  11. Both right, I work nights now...
  12. Know what im doing tommorow....
  13. Either never complied, or attempted ghosted car? Damn given its very stock bits and odo, Im inclined to think this is quite a find, wonder what the reserve(if any) is....
  14. My bet is on profits of crime act... aka drug money. Hmmm, Ross's is 5 min from me, should have a look lol.
  15. Two different schools of thought, most interesting. Considering where I want to take my engine, built 26, 2.8 stroker, 26/30 combo, off the wall VH41de+tt combo... so threads like this are quite useful, as heated arguments are where the juicy info comes out
  16. I remember when was around 17, seeing my first skyline r33 in the flesh, was a white R33 GTST around Garden City (SOR Perth). I was impressed by how clean it was, and how fresh the design was compared to the falcons & commies of the day. Unfortunately these days 33 GTSTs are common as muck, but still a much more beautiful kinda of muck compared to some of the crapodores out there.
  17. Found it, R34 GTT Stock boost is 7psi, just under 0.5 bar. R34 GTR is same as 32/33 GTR... which is what Topaz was referring to I believe.
  18. Have you upgraded the wiring to the pump to cope with the extra load the new pump places on the electrics? Shouldn't make a difference if you wait till the pump primes tho.
  19. Not this again, Stock gauge doesn't read in bar, it reads in torr (mmHg) 6(x100 mmHg) on the stock guage is actually 600torr(mmHg) = 0.8bar = 11.6psi That said I don't know what boost the GTT runs
  20. Tried cleaning them? Usually its the connectors themselves that get shagged. Resolder for the win
  21. Read the article this arvo, I don't believe the cars initial tune made the most of the upgraded components, not saying it wasn't tuned tho. Oddly tho they said they put the stock gtr exhaust, I was always under the assumption that this was quite restrictive for 300 odd Kw application, and often one of the first mods worthwhile on any car They also said 'peak power' barely change, but mods like cams aren't always aimed at peak power, often mid range or low end improvement is what people are after. But overall I would agree that manifolds on the GTR only need replacing in high HP setups, often after more crucial components have been sorted first.
  22. lol you just bagged him out for the same advice you gave your mate... classic. I don't know what kind of power your/hes aiming for, but I reckon if your gonna spend the money on a 'full' rebuild, maybe go a 25/30 hybrid... considering RB30E block can be had for around $100 and the r32 25de head will bolt on, its not such a silly idea.
