  1. Why?? Get new plenum(Single TB) if you want single throttle body.
  2. If you mean it leaks on the outside of the windscreen its probably due to... No pump(or centrifugal type booster pump) mounted up the back, relying on pressure from front pump, therefore under 'fun-time' water surges back along the lines(always primed) unrestricted = inertia pumping the water. Did I make sense?
  3. Fixed it for you... i'm pretty sure all the big jap brands do pipework inhouse.
  4. nsta is running 34N1s IIRC, not much mumbo left after 7K to be worth bringing on the early retirement of the engine.
  5. Vista got hacked before it was released... and then again, and again, and again...
  6. Love your work guys... I'm sure if anything had of been said at the end, you'd feel very tempted to call them a 'pack of arseholes' - for nostalgic reasons of course
  7. GReddy Ultimate is the second best thing to any full featured ecu. Is miles above SAFC and other signal benders because it bends 'all' signals, adjust AF ratio... if you could get a AFC 'bender' + timing 'bender' you would be fine. Ultimate does a lot more than just these two... I recommended NIStune because it makes stock ecu retuneable and retains stock auto shift logic(as does Ultimate - technically) + retains knock maps for engine protection. Power FC is second best as it is plug and play, and is well supported... but is rare as/slash expensive as.... At the end of the day, choose your trusted tuner and go with their recommendation.
  8. is your car N/A lol? Seriously, either gauge is stuffed or vacuum line has popped off.
  9. wanted: 26 yr old with death wish, insurance for fast car... willing to mortgage soul - got rofl?
  10. Id don't own a 33 to verify myself, but I would imagine the signal still comes from the ecu, which is still up the front of the car. I forgot about this myself, but should make parts total cheaper (less cable). Good luck mate
  11. Id look at NIStune for a 32 GTST... IMO anyway.
  12. (Factory)Wire gauge is to small for your upgraded pump(it uses more power). Needs a fresh run of thicker electrical wire, coupled with a relay to turn pump on/off. Parts/wire shouldn't cost more than $40, labour will be more expensive, up to 2-3 hours for those not familiar with skylines.
  13. I'd go slightly different to above... - 34N1s /gt-ss turbos - full exhaust - air filter - boost controller - turbo dumps - NIStune, or Power FC. - Cams if your the budget allows. - New clutch wouldn't go astray if needed...
  14. Just to answer your question Gary, factory wiring for the fuel pump isn't up to the job. Cable gauge is to small to carry the desired amperage, causing volt drop (which gets worse the longer the distance) , which in turn means that down the fuel pump end of things its only getting ~12V instead of the ~14V it needs to run at FULL capacty. This setup would use a relay switched by the original pump wiring, of which there will be a diagram somewhere in here. ps. get it tuned
  15. homebrew fuel, toulene time lol... Higher octane fuel is available over east, Shell Extreme or something.... its on their website.
  16. IIRC rb20 ecu is virtually straight plugin for rb25 minus vct. To control vct, and old trick I know of is to use a modified shift light (usually works out cheaper) that triggers the vct solenoid instead of shift light, on most units it also means you can adjust when it kicks in.
  17. Might drop by to have a look round, I'm not that far away from meet point...
  18. There will be an rpm signal wire at the back of the dash (for the dash tacho), ignition & illumination feed you should be able to get from headunit and/or back of speedo/rpm cluster. Pinouts can be found here... http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/diagrams.html
  19. not another 32!
  20. Bosch 023 = Nismo pump... unsure if it plugs straight into position, or needs modificaqtion to fit (doing my research atm lol) 023 Flows 168 L/hr @ 5 bar (internal) L=169mm D=60mm 040 Flows 102 L/hr @ 6.5 bar (internal) L=169mm D=60mm 044 Flows 200 L/hr @ 5 bar (external) L=196mm D=60mm Bosch pdf comparison fuelpumps.pdf Bosch fuel pump website: http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/html/4560.htm Hope all that helps
  21. Yup, i saw one pull over someone weeks ago... I warned ppl in the spotted thread lol. Saw another one the other day in cannington, think it was champagne colour with black steelies.
  22. Someone was 'inspecting' it around 530am this morning, while I was on my way to work...
  23. I used to get 350km to a tank but since I had my 100K service (except o2 sensors) i've been getting 400Km on the nose. Generally get that if I drive like grandma, or thrash it... I believe new o2's and a tune 'should' better this(in my case anyway), but Ill have to wait and see.
  24. pm HRH MEL, works at a smash repairer in Canning Vale... does good work at reasonable rates.
  25. Wheels spacers are illegal (defectable), and your insurance company could potentially refuse a claim on that basis.
