Turbo? 2K on Full Comp. insurance around $500 on best alarm you can find Then breathing mods if not already done: pods, fmic, exhaust. Then you can start looking at more fun options once there done.

Im down like James Brown... Cruise will be fine as long as no one reposts the cruise on other sites, otherwise prepare for hectik falcadores rocking neons and fully sik burnouts

IMHO... RB26/30 if you put a hole/crack in your block, 2.8L Stroker if you don't.

At least two workshops over here in WA will be in possession of the new GTR wen its available - let alone over East... can't do R&D without the goods infront of you. When the new GTR comes out are you gonna want to go with unproven add ons, or upgrades that were developed earlier & proven results? Aftermarket sales will be initially limited & expensive - but so will the car. In my view the new GTR levels the playing field, everyone starts from scratch (well except Nismo, lol)... I really look forward to seeing what Aussie, Yank & Euro tuning houses push out... remembering how much the market has been opened up compared to previous GTR models. In response to RSC41, do you realize that Nissan Aust only brought 100 32Rs in to Oz? And that whole recession thing at the time limited a lot of options until cheaper grey imports were available... and how quickly we forget Gibson motorsport - they weren't running stock GTRs!
-
IMHO... 1. Ill be waiting to see how insane the 'Z tune' New GTR will be.... you know it'll happen. 2. If you spent 100Gs+ on the car, you probably wouldn't won't to modify it for a while (esp. while in warranty period) 3. Hopefully Nissan will make an ecu that is easily programmable, negating aftermarket ecu in all but the most extreme cases. 4. When New GTR owners start upgrading items, it'll be a feeding frenzy for other Skyline owners... I personally will kill for a set of those 20" rims to go on my 32R... you reckon its to early to put in WTB?

Glad its all been resolved mate. Hopefully it wasn't thrashed to within an inch of its life. Gorgeous 32R btw.

+1 for WA... Once off fee here too, poor NSW drivers get raped for everything they've got Id get [11I1111] , useful for triping up speed camera photo analysts.

Microchipping Your Skyline.

Bit of info on GPS tracking, often using a mobile phone/sim card. A few threads on here, but hit google up anyway. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t188469.html - Recent SAU thread to get you started. http://www.ezitrak.com.au/aa-product_overview.htm - One of the better 'budget' options -
Sounds a bit high mate, compression on a brand new engine would be 160. Already complied? But otherwise this is an absolute steal, if its half as good as stated, good luck with the sale.

I wasn't impressed with that article in the last HPI at all, a lot of contradictions between reviews. Like R31Nismoid said, it just sounded like the whole article was selling you the Reytec. I looked into it after reading the article, its quite expensive ($1K+), and they need your old stock ecu. Info: http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...eytec_rset.html If your on a budget Chip or Power FC, If not on a budget Power FC is still good, but id consider Wolf or Haltech also... But to answer your answers specifically: 1. What kind of price would i be looking at for a tomei reytec? $1K+ plus your old stock ecu. 2. Also what kind of power gains would i see from these two, say compared to using a power fc?Chip & Reytec utilize stock ECU so f**k all difference there, can't imagine much difference with Power FC. 3. Im located in Albury, which is three hours from Melbourne and Canberra, and 6 hours from Sydney, so would i be better off going for a power fc since they are more common and more commonly tuned? i dont want to travel across the country to get my car tuned.Ask your local(close) tuners what they DO support. 4. Does anyone know any good quality tuners that tune the reytec or the factory ecu from either melbourne or canberra? 5. What kind of average cost would i be looking at to get either one of these three tuned? experiences?Varies between shops, chip tuning is usually more time consuming therefore more expensive than other two methods. As all three have a base tune, it shouldn't take to long. $200-$300 I would estimate would cover tuning, but don't forget installation costs of ecu.

Looks magnificent mate! any chance you could take a pic or two of the interior work?
-
Make sure you car is covered for any damage, as courier companies employ halfwits that are careless... especially TNT.
-
IIRC Shannons might, but its an option on the policy, not standard... Limited to $20K IIRC... Its on there website.

Considering the Evo IX was the last to recieve the mighty 4G63, the new Evo X Engine 4B11T has a lot to live up to, and hopefully more potential than the 4G63... but I doubt Mitsubishi will disappoint.

half the time its just the license plate making noise. Crank the beats and hold the plate, if that cuts it out just put some rubber or foam inbetween the plate and holder.

Bloody red tape, sorry to here about the stress mate... it'll come good eventually -
When I was over (like 2001 lol) I was mainly skating with Igor, Tien, Ben and those guys... but met a lot of the other guys there to. Ian Brown was a champ. If you see Tom say hi from Twisty, he was kind enough to let me crash at his place a few years ago and havn't talked to him in a long time. Should real do another trip over East again now flights are so cheap. Yeah man OG, I know that feeling... every time i see some kid 540 to a grind I feel like a true OG lol lol @ metro fag... do a wheelie!
-
Nah, I didn't know they were coming up, so I missed 'em, lol... Anything major coming up that you know of? I know we've got the Gravity Games over here again in November/Decemberish ... that should be a laugh. You know/roll with many of the Sydney skaters?
