  1. Ive seen them parked up on that bridge on the way to work some mornings, sneaky buggers... But the best & most sneaky spot was opposite Leedy train station(Northbound), parked in the bushes - offroad adventure!
  2. Ive noticed for the first time, so I assume its new, on North bound 3 separate mounting brackets on RHS as you drivng thru the tunnel... maybe the beginning of the end EDIT: And same for south/east bound.
  3. Now theres a sticker for the 'line
  4. as above, but dishwashing liquid + water does same, and usually more accessable for ppl.
  5. For East Perth just park at East Perth Trainstation and train 1 stop, or if your keen park at Golf Box... some business closed there so you can get away with it in the right spots (free!). Me? I got V.I.P. status lol, parking in 'James Bond' aka Myers underground thanks to my mate who runs a skate store in forrest chase (and thanks to security that turn a blind eye when I park in centre managment bays )
  6. I think the cop felt generous, i think he downgraded your speeding charge to a lesser one... maybe. But one the other hand, dangerous/reckless(I forget which one) driving is mandatory 6month susp. + points, but fine is at judges discretion, but can go up to $3k from memory.
  7. I quite like it, better than album after album of more of the same... a bands gotta move in a new direction. But this album doesn't seem like it will have the same longevity in my iPod lineup as previous LP albums. So there you go.
  8. I had the choice of the BOV or Meguairs pack, I chose the Meguairs because im happy with my GTR BOVs (and i'm always detailing my car)... Im glad someone who is actually going to use it got it... hopefully its the begining of more mods to come
  9. stocko magna + falcon burnouts @ kalamunda spot ftw
  10. Amazing turnout, and amazing result for the Starlight Foundation... and im stoked cause I won the Meguairs pack Thanks To SAUWA, Lucy + all else involved with this successful night... look forward to the next one
  11. lol I was riding solo (Silver gtr32) so it was hard 4 me to read my map(I knew vaguely from memory where I was going, haha), so I just hoped to keep up with the driver/navigator team infront (thanks!) Massive turn out (maybe a bit too big for my liking lol), adn loved the run, but didn't make past the Kalamunda spot (driving fatigue ) but had a good run home wit SEBOTAJ on the way home down the hill & orrong rd... loved the mist/fog up there. Glad there was a good result for charity... Good work lads, you've done well!
  12. BP if your in WA... Either if eastern states.
  13. yeah, my mate had one, his parents, managed to kill it, lol. 1 person can spin the damn thing lol. A machine.
  14. This is Google's new free internet service... Google announces free in-home wireless broadband service "Dark porcelain" project offers self-installed plumbing-based Internet access MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 1, 2007 - Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) today announced the launch of Google TiSP (BETA)™, a free in-home wireless broadband service that delivers online connectivity via users' plumbing systems. The Toilet Internet Service Provider (TiSP) project is a self-installed, ad-supported online service that will be offered entirely free to any consumer with a WiFi-capable PC and a toilet connected to a local municipal sewage system. "We've got that whole organizing-the-world's-information thing more or less under control," said Google Co-founder and President Larry Page, a longtime supporter of so-called "dark porcelain" research and development. "What's interesting, though, is how many different modalities there are for actually getting that information to you - not to mention from you." For years, data carriers have confronted the "last hundred yards" problem for delivering data from local networks into individual homes. Now Google has successfully devised a "last hundred smelly yards" solution that takes advantage of preexisting plumbing and sewage systems and their related hydraulic data-transmission capabilities. "There's actually a thriving little underground community that's been studying this exact solution for a long time," says Page. "And today our Toilet ISP team is pleased to be leading the way through the sewers, up out of your toilet and - splat - right onto your PC." Users who sign up online for the TiSP system will receive a full home self-installation kit, which includes a spindle of fiber-optic cable, a TiSP wireless router, installation CD and setup guide. Home installation is a simple matter of GFlushing™ the fiber-optic cable down to the nearest TiSP Access Node, then plugging the other end into the network port of your Google-provided TiSP wireless router. Within sixty minutes, the Access Node's crack team of Plumbing Hardware Dispatchers (PHDs) should have your internet connection up and running. "I couldn't be more excited about, and am only slightly grossed out by, this remarkable new product," said Marissa Mayer, Google's Vice President of Search Products and User Experience. "I firmly believe TiSP will be a breakthrough product, particularly for those users who, like Larry himself, do much of their best thinking in the bathroom." Interested consumers, contractually obligated partners and deeply skeptical and quietly competitive backbiters can learn more about TiSP at http://www.google.com/tisp/install.html. ...I think we should all check todays date , nice one Google.
  15. Sorry for your loss, theiving pricks. The new Garmin GPS's have exactly this feature, called 'Garmin lockout' (they also provide window stickers that warn would-be theives)... http://www.gme.net.au/garmin/c510.php I sold these at my old work, they are good units. Hope this helps.
  16. Get them second hand, my back window had an encounter with a brick, Nissan wanted about 1K for back windscreen - don't ask about the seals (I payed about $150 2nd hand - $250 seems to be closer to the average) I got mine off a GTST wreck( I have a GTR, they are the same despite what Nissan may say), so it can be taken off without breaking, just take care and don't force it... take note of wether you or the donor have a wiper or not. When your putting back in just get universal seals, don't look as good but price difference is ridiculous.
  17. i'd love to but my GF would kill me
  18. My R32 GTR does the same, on mine I don't think its really that bad. I put it down to old(stock) coil packs on mine, that and maybe the cold weight of the oil being to thick? Otherwise give a respectable tuning shop a call, won't hurt to ask.
  19. If you have no luck, backorders can still be had.... including issue 37. For back issue orders, please contact Magstore on 1800 801 647 (overseas + 61 2 9741 3899). 20. Trick that I used on my old car, that Im planning on using in my 32 is use the the black triangle on the door(front of door window), use some nice fabric mesh over the top if you want. Crossover can probably go in door, or maybe under dash. Ive put off installing my speakers in my doors because its a bit of a mission, both fitting, and running nice gauge cable to the door.
  21. Welcome to the easiest car setup to do a self install in. No firewall, under carpet, moving seats, to deal with. If you can distinguish between red & black and you know what a fuse/circuit breaker is you'll do fine.
  22. Alternator can handle it, otherwise bigger problems would be obvious. Battery wouldn't handle it for long after car is off, so might be worth while getting it checked. Although I don't think this will be your problem, it narrows the list. You said you ran 4 gauge for earth, you did the same for positive right? all the way back to battery? Thinking about it now, what size(amp) circuit breaker did you use for the new run?
  23. Yes, i did the same no-no in my r32... you live and learn.
  24. If battery is bulging its either being overcharged, vents blocked off (happens with some makes) or its getting very, very hot under your bonnet... Given youv'e just had a service, either someones being playing with the alternator, or for some reason ran really hot. Oh by the way, you can just use normal dishwashing liquid with water to neutralize acid.
  25. You battery is sulfated & f*cked... you've got just enough juice to start, then your car is running off the good graces of your alternator, which maybe putting stress on the alternator. Don't bother load testing as what you have already done is a heavier load test than one they will have.
