  1. United is getting ready to launch the first E85 pump in WA in the next few weeks. An E85 pump has been installed in Armadale, with others to follow shortly (hopefully!). We've had P100 & E10 for a little while now, but no pump E85 Better late than never, only look 5 years after introduction over east... Wait Awhile indeed Does the United blend tend to vary much in ethanol content, or is it only the Caltex blend that jumps around seasonally?
  2. Too hard as it can't be air freighted, but that's significantly cheaper than all prices I've come across. Decided to go with regular Motul comp fluid, as it's far easy & cheaper to get my hands on, and others I've spoken to have been happy with it's performance. If it doesn't work out I'll try something else at the service interval. Thanks for the help.
  3. What a saga. The guys at Just Jap say it's been discontinued...
  4. Tried that, Nissan (over here anyway) doesn't stock/carry it and referred me to the Motul local dealer, to which there are none in my state. I can buy it from a US Nissan dealer over ebay, but I'll get stung 50% of the price in freight. I've settled for Just Jap who seem to have it on hand (waiting for confirmation), however I'm getting stung a bit in freight and higher item costs so I'll be $50 worse off LOL @ swear filter, I'll let you guess what dream boat means
  5. LOL turns out Motul is changing it's Australian distributor. Both the current & future Australian distributors are dream boats that decided to jerk me & the retailer sourcing it around, and decided that it's all to hard to do their job.
  6. Been running 1.1 bar with my R34 GTR turbos for the last 18 months, so far so good. Playing with adjustable cams (standard cams) definitely woke the turbos up in the low down and mid range. 1.15 bar seems to be the consensus on the limit if you want the turbos to stay alive for an extended period of time.
  7. Doesn't matter really, go by condition and extras.
  8. Unsurprisingly no listed stockists in WA. On further research it's apparently the OEM fluid on later model R35 LSDs (and recommended on earlier), so I have no doubt I'll get my hands on it one way or another. Thanks
  9. Didn't know it was available outside of Nismo JP, traders in Japan won't send, or if they do they require a min. 6x 1L purchase. The LSD is supposed to come with 2x 1L Nismo LSD oil, but they don't seem to supply it with the oil outside of Japan. Will chase it up locally, to see if I can get it, thanks. I was aware of the generic Motul version, however I'm led to believe they are not 100% the same. I assuming Nismo has a specific blend of friction modifiers etc to suit the LSD for an OEM feel i.e. minimal chatter. Thanks, might end up being easier to source.
  10. Thicker/higher grade wiring than stock, around the same price as a replacement OEM harness, ~$200. This version (there's 2) also has direct wiring/earth back to the battery. Should hopefully equate to a stronger, more reliable spark... e85 ready
  11. Soooo I bought more stuff... Trust Intake piping Nismo LSD Pro diff + reinforced bushes Do-Luck beefed up ignition harness
  12. I ended up with the Nismo GT Pro for a good price Couldn't get the nismo tweaked motul oil without buying excessive amounts, whats a recommended alternative diff oil? Regular Motul diff oil do the job well?
  13. Can only be less than the amount of vibrations I'm currently getting LOL It's a strange thing, some people report problem, some don't. Not sure if it's brand specific thing (ACPT group buy dramas comes to mind), or other problems resonating though, or simply that you just need to spend a little extra time doing things like shimming up gearbox mounts to get the tailshaft angle perfect. Find out soon enough I guess
  14. 32R's tail shaft has started making a bit of noise. In keeping with the "if it dies, replace it with something better" theme of modifying, I've got a CF one piece shaft on the way
  15. Would that include the new quaife rear? Trying to find some feedback on it, but coming up with nothing so far...
  16. Are these only suitable for stock/mild power applications? Curious as to why you have excluded R32/R33 GTRs
  17. Make sure check prices in JPY vs AUD, I often find I get a much better exchange rate paying in Yen (including fees). Otherwise have had good dealings with them over the last few years.
  18. I bought a pack of grommets for $2 from Repco about the same size as the hole. Hasn't budged in 4 years and looks better than some efforts...
  19. Small update... Had the 32R booked in for a comprehensive detail with OCDetailing today, I'm pretty stoked with the result Hopefully next update will be for go fast bits
  20. If you want sell you nismo 3 piece side skirts, I'd be interested in buying it off you
  21. Shouldn't need any hub rings, I didn't for my LMGT4s on my 32R... fits snug
  22. Just talked to Jon @ Full Race who also confirmed that BW have changed the manufacturing process on these to ramp up the production rate. He did say that particular one in the bimmer forum thread above was the worst he has seen though.
  23. It should have a little knobbly bit on the sensor that it was attached with previously, I just used that to mount it on a spare hole on the bracket that the horn sits on
  24. I reckon the issue might be the ecu, specifically the fact you're running wasted spark... it'll be over working you ignition system IMO
