looks like the car has 3 different kit components - different front, rear, sideskirts.... the white rear shown in the pic is what we (in Thailand) call B-wave... but I have no idea what you guys would call it in Australia I'd agree with the other posts that the damage doesn't look all that bad, and is definitely repairable.

Well spotted, although I think I listed it in the mods - yeah it fits ok... the guys who originally fitted it didn't do a great job but I refitted it to make it better, although I'm not entirely happy with the result because of overlapping endges on either side around the gearstick console, but since it's better than it was I'm not too bothered. WIth a bit of patience, you'd be able to make a pretty good fit.

Thanks for the comments guys.... They ARE nice... they were pretty expensive when I bought them, but I have to say it was money well spent! The already car had a 1JZ when I bought it over a year ago, but developed engine knock.... rather than rebuild that engine, I just replaced the whole engine - about $1,000 aus, and about $600 aus for service, which included completely rewiring the engine-bay. it's not actually real leather... so not standard from the factory [although there are plenty over here in Thailand that are] it's that fake-leather stuff but reasonably well done.... I'd love to get a set of recaros trimmed up the same

The latest news is that I spent too much time and effort on the car, and now I don't have a girlfriend anymore..... At least with a car like this, finding a new gf shouldn't take long

Here are description and a few pics of my 1991 A31 Cefiro in Thailand.... I bought it over 1 year ago with a 1JZ fitted, and rear coilovers. It was actually a bit of a mess mechanically at the time, but looked nice on the outside. The car is affectionately known as "moneypit" based on the amount of money that it has swallowed to get it almost to the state that I want to... - Toyota 1JZ-GTE [pretty much standard tune] - Toyota manual gearbox [totally indestructable!!!] - Huge no-name FMIC - Aluminium radiator with 2 twin-speed cooling fans - Modified air intake pipe with K&N filter - 3" straight through exhaust system - Bailey twin piston dump/blowoff valve [about to be replaced for a Blitz] - R33 GTS brakes - Top Secret coilovers [front and rear] - Front and rear strut/sway bars - Adjustable rear camber & toe arms - Alloy subframe bushes - 17x8" wheels with 41 offset [front 225/45/17, rear 265/40/17] - TBO [aka 'wonder'?] front, rear & sideskirts - Sony GT550 mp3 head-unit - Sony 6.5" 3-way speakers - Sony 10-disc multichanger - Sony 500w amplifier - Sony 12" twin coil subwoofer - Turbo-timer - Guages - R32 handbrake and console - Modified auto-center console around the gearstick and stereo [texture removed and colour-coded black] - Black carpets, black seats with grey [home-made] floormats.... - Sunroof Here are some pics: I'm sure there's other stuff that I've forgotten, but I've done loads to the car since I bought it, and my girlfriend thinks that I spend more time, effort, and money on the car than I spend on her..... maybe she's right?

My Cefiro has 17x8 with 225 on the front and 265 on the rear. I think the offset is +41 [but I may be wrong... it's been a while since I got them and I'm not entirely sure]. I'm running R33 brakes all around and have loads of clearance without resorting to using spacers. The fronts sit nicely in the guard and no clearance issues. The rears do stick out quick a lot... I have adjustable camber kit on the back and am running quite a lot of camber on there, and even so the wheels do stick out about half an inch at the top. I had to lift up the coilovers to nearly maximum height to give enough clearance and stop scuffing when the car bottoms out. Will post a pic up soon as I get my car back from the autoelectrician...

My Cefiro fuel guage needle has recently developed a quirk of its own.... I fill the car up, the needle says half full. I drive 200 km, still half full. Drive 300 km and the needle starts to move down rapidly. 320km the warning light comes on..... but I do have a 1jz, and I don't drive it too carefully so I know that I'm getting terrible economy... but the fuel level sender has got to somehow be stuffed.....

I guess the good thing is that Thais have no idea with reading Japanese so they were all labelled up in English over here Here's the cointray fusebox layout from my 1991 Cefiro... it was an auto originally so some of the fuses may be different from manual... but it's probably more help than what you currently have in Japanese... Hope it helps. Let me know if anyone wants the engine bay fuse box translated, and I'll upload it when I'm online next

driving around town, going to collect my ticket to fly to the UK tomorrow, and this happens.... right now I feel like I wanna tear someones head off.... but I'm just going to kill a few beers instead! I reckon I'll have a hangover on the plane....

Here's my 1JZ powered Cefiro... don't have a lot of information about dropping the JZ into a Ceffie, since mine was already installed when I bought the car. I do know that here in Thailand people can buy looms off the shelf to splice into the standard loom and then everything plugs straight in, no drama!

I already replaced the drop-links and solved the wobbliness that I was feeling at the front, although I'm still feeling a few bumps and hearing a few clunks from the front.... I lifted the car up a couple of cm all around and I've actually noticed a big difference too... before it was WAY TOO LOW Still got a bit of a shopping list of S13 parts that I'll be picking up when I go to the UK in a few weeks

I'm on my way to the UK for a couple of weeks and can get my hands on some cheap 200SX/S13 stuff, and I understand that most of it is meant to be interchangeable with A31. With that in mind, here are a couple of q's for you guys with fully modified suspension setups..... 1 - Does anyone know if the [front] anti-rollbar drop-link bushes from a 200SX S13 will fit the A31 Cefiro? It seems like I'm getting a bit of movement in the link due to worn bushes, and I just found some decent S13 uprated items... Does anyone know if they would/should fit the A31? Cefiro A31: 200SX S13: 2 - I found aluminium subframe bushes listed, and noticed that one of my rubber bushes was well-worn. Has anyone installed any aluminium or polyeurothane items like these listed, and if so - what kind of effect have they had on the handling of the car? S13 Subframe Bushes: 3 - The camber on my car seems to be uneven so I need to adjust the settings, but my suspension is totally stock apart from a set of coilovers. Is an adjustable camber arm the only way to be able to modify the camber or is there another way to fix this? S13 Upper Rear Camber Arm: Note: My cefiro is not for drifting - its an everyday-use fast street-car. Comments, guidelines and advice about suspension setup please.... Any pics of installations would be welcome too...

Nice front and rear, but the sideskirts suck-a55! I gotta say "nice rims" too.... look the same as mine, with the same kit, but more subtle sideskirt.... [cant get the pic to display properly]

Here's mine since changing brakes for R33 items and new wheels..... the wheels are not as dished as I would've liked, but I reckon it still looks pretty mean a couple of days later it got hit up the backside by a f**kin taxi, luckily not too much damage done!
