Usually if its a coil pack you can see the damage... It will fire the spark out the side of the pack to the cylinder head, leaving a "char" mark on the side of the coil pack... Its easily spotted on the dyno with the lights off, its like a lightning storm under load at 5000rpm... Just check the plugs and as you pull the coil packs inspect them closely... A set of platinum plugs will set you back over $100, a set of new coil packs I think are still about $500-$550ish... AFM will play up from 1000rpm right through to red line... if its only missing at higher rpm it will be a broken coil pack or plug health/gap...

Chalk pens are the go... their like liquid paper when set, so easy to come off... just like what they use at QR/Willowbank to number cars

Hey, I ran my R1 last time SAU went out there. To be honest its the same rules as car drivers with the exception of riders must wear gloves and a suitable bike jacket. I wear Draggin jeans, leather jacket, leather gloves and my leather dririder boots. Your kit is fine, if you wear that gear you will be considered acceptable to ride. Its only track days at QR or lakeside that require full leathers.

I thought id like the events crew answer this one, but its been here for a few days so ill have a crack... Pay asap, sooner the better to lock down spots... You need long sleeve shirt, sealed in shoes & full length jeans/trousers... In short wrist to toe clothing, so the only parts of you exposed are hands & head/face... As for helmet regulations, you can use any type (motor cross, motorbike, open faced, rally, circuit, drag helmets are all acceptable)... It must have an Australian standards sticker on it at the back... (The five tick sticker, like the one below) Thats it... Just remember to have fun!!!

$14k is cheap for an r34 compared to others advertised... yours is high km's but they all are in reality yours just has not had a haircut... my point is advertised averages does not tell you what its worth, its worth what someone is willing to pay... maybe take it off the market and bring it back onto the market via carsales after tax time at $14k ono...
