I was heading down the ISF line, but Nay didn't want another V8... So i got her the hybrid instead... 270kw combined output (one petrol and two electric motors) and 710nm of torque @ 1920kg... Its faster than any factory HSV/FPV out there at the moment and its an SUV... Remember electric motors make high torque right from 1 rpm... So when you floor the pedal it launches like a modified GTR... So i sorta won at the same time... No ISF but at least we got something as fast... I'll be trading my 250 on a 350 or ISF later in the year... 153kw up to 233 or 311kw (budget pending)

Evening I have a set of 4 x 18" Koya alloy rims here from my wife's S15 also used to be on an R33 GTSt. They come with rubber on them, 30-40% tread left, two are close to the wear markers. i dont think it will be that easy, i reckon there going to want proof etc... wish i could, off to sydney now for meetings tomorrow like i said im not confident until i see the $$ in my bank account... everyone left the meeting saying the same thing out loud "Oh ill just get the invoice doubled" so id be surprised if they didnt do some checking first... but im gonna give it a go... the tradies sent me a new invoice at a labour rate of $122 per hour to make up the extra $$$...

well we had our meeting with the insurance company... they battering now to pay out 50% of the claimed damage... im getting the tradies I used to write me up and invoice for $250K so ill claim half of that (125k) and ill be about 5k ahead I reckon 5k is fair considering the lose in interest over the past 3 months and sleepless nights etc...

oh, mine is a house insurance issue not a car related issue... the reason they mentioning GTR's is my car money has gone into fixing the house and now insurance wont pay out... lets see what happens tomorrow...

yeah we will have 2 Lexus'i soon... S15 gone, young bloke from Hervey Bay took her away yesterday... Not really, I shouldn't be in this situation to start with... Id much prefer my insurance company to do the right thing and Id have my GTR... Im going to a hearing (not court) with other customers and a mediator for RACQ on Monday (tomorrow)... Lets see what happens next, its tipped their going to pay some damages... (i repeat "some")

F430 for 24 hours (limited to 250km max) $820 inc GST their allot more dollars new than a GTR... horses for courses... the thing is if you price too high no one will rent it, hence causing a big burning hole in your pocket... "Ferrari drive days" were having this issue hence the cheap rentals mid last year... they said their better off renting it daily for $700/800 then once a week at $1500 like their competitors...

its just a temp car until my wife's Lexus comes... nothing exciting at the moment... no GTR yet

and the S15 is sold.... gone to Hervey Bay, will be sad to watch her drive away...
