  1. Its ok dude, im just having a lend... PS> You dont have to be smart to build a 300kw skyline, just read these forums...
  2. I came back to this topic to see where it has been in the last few days ive been busy... And I find this... I have to say im disapointed... All I can say to both of you (Birds and Max) is "Fit for purpose"... Who cares about price, who cares about style, who cares about anything other than "Fit for purpose"... That means different things to different people, no point in banging you head againt a brick wall as all peoples opinions are based on their defination of "Fit for purpose"... If I had over $300k to spend on only 2 cars, Id probably buy what this guy has in his garage too... Except Id buy them both in white...
  3. Ummmm looks very nice...

  5. Absolutly awesome effort... Perfect video too... Love the data overlay, its really good... I dont think you were too aggressive, maybe hold 3rd a wee bit longer coming up over the bridge... Dont be affraid to down shift later and faster and let the engine do some more breaking for you... I think you could easily pick up a few 10th's just being a little harder on it coming into the turns... After all with all the computers and AWD you wont compression stall... You lines were pretty good, hard to comment tho as I've never been round that track only ever watched it on TV...
  6. Your last three threads in the QLD section... Just putting it out there... Soz but I cant hold it in anymore... (edit) change that to last four threads...

  10. Thats right Tenna... You need to be honest and tick all the boxes, turning a blind eye to matters like this is a sure way to get bitten in the arse... and for what a total saving of $150 to $200 per annum...
  11. Jesus James a bit more notice in future... I could have made a corporate day out of it and made work pay for it...
  12. very cool
  13. Try changing an engine number... Inspector: I see you wrote is a 6 cylinder engine on here son Me: Yep its an Rb20det Inspector: Well, where are the spark plugs for me to count to ensure its got 6 cylinders Me: Under that valley cover (points) Inspector: Well, you better remove that so I can count them so I can sign it off as a 6 cylinder engine Me: I cant, I need to remove all the pipe work and coil packs etc etc (didnt have anything in the car to do it anyway) Inspector: Son, If I can see the spark plugs how am I to tell its a 6 cylinder Me: Well via the engine number on the block, its an Rb20, Rb20's are a 2 litre 6 cylinder Nissan engine found in various Nissan imports and are generaly turbo charged Inspector: You say its a 2 litre motor Me: Yeah Inspector: Well it must be a 4 cylinder engine then (started to change the paperwork) Me: Told him to forget about it, and to consider a change of career as he was way too tallented to be doing this for the rest of his life... Then drove to a different DOT location and started again with much better sucess...

  22. Hello Simon FYI, From a legal stand point you the re-seller of the item can be held responcible for the distribution of product interstate for use in an illegal manner... Many Ebay sellers are ouside the reach of State laws, hence they can send away and have no problems... The laws for distribution of illegal items are similar to the RSA laws, and in this case your the licensee of the products distribution... Not sure of the fines involved with radar detectors but if anything like liquior than you could look at up to $50,000 per offence... So just FYI, I personally would not distribute outside WA... Cause it could wreak your life for ever...
