  1. Yeah I just see that now... Its an weird licence, its normal HR plus the following clause; "a specially constructed vehicle weighing more than 8 t GVM with or without a trailer" So its for over sized HR trucks with a combined weight over 8t empty... Best I can think of is like the special single trailer trucks which carry the huge mining vechicle tyres out west... Im not with shannons, but yeah many insurance company's provide a wind screen replacement in their policy for free... Like I said im just happy it didnt hit the cars bonnet first...
  2. Its ok, Im just happy it did the damage to the windscreen and not the panel work... My insurance allows for one windscreen per year with no excess or increase to policy...
  3. Call Mark @ Godzilla... He certainlly knows alot about his GTR's...
  4. 2 in kallangur... wow... must have been seeing how the other half live... or maybe they sold their houses in towards the city and bought a cheaper house and a GTR...
  5. My windscreen needs to be replaced after yesterday thanks to a truck out the back of yarraman (near blackbutt)... He strayed off the edge of the tarmac into the rocks and bang, smashed windscreen at 110kph... I was pissed to say the least... You might mean "MC" licence... There are 4 levels; * LR (Light rigid) * MR (Medium rigid) * HR (Heavy rigid) * MC (Multi combination)
  6. please use the event section in future tristan
  7. You do realise its Anzac day hey???
  8. Your on the right track, they are 20 or so years old now and do need to be checked over in depth to ensure quality... Dan is able to travel to the car so at least the seller can be comfortable with the inspection as the car does not need to go anywhere... It would be a big advantage to have a hoist and a good 2 hours to go over it tho... If their keen to sell and have nothing to hide they should be flexiable to take the care to a point of inspection of your choice... (ie. drive the car to dan and then hang around until completed)
  9. seen em all, all very good...

    Advice

You know what you want, so make it easy on yourself and your wallet... Go to an importer and get one into the country, they will keep searching until it comes in under budget and you will get what you want... please use your other thread, one thread is enough... thanks
  13. With that sort of taste in mind, I guess a 6 pack of pre-mix jonnie walker cans is out of the question...
  14. bah... first 4 flamer... doubt it...

  16. DMD is a common recomendation...
  17. Actually Mark Apexi used to have two different model numbers for the Apexi PFC for the S1 & S2... However on closer inspection they were infact the same unit... They made two different model numbers on their list to reduce the number of enquires from people asking if there were specific ecu's for the S1 & S2... Hence the cause of this common question or assumption that there are two units in the standard pfc for the R33 (rb25det models)... They would have been better off just changing the product description to say "suits S1 & S2" which is what they did in the end... Bit of usless knowledge for ya...!
  18. new f&f movie is a little disapointing to say the least.... but what did i expect...?
  19. 30,000kms would mean average km per annum of about 1500km... So like three tanks of fuel per year... What do you reckon?
