Its a sleave you can buy from ebay that fits into the mouth of the ssqv and gives you a sleeve you can clamp a hose onto... You loose the noise completelly however as the fins that create the whissle are removed to have this part fit...

I had and still have a similar opinion Marc... I always thought its not worth blowing or damaging an engine cause i could not afford $899 (at the time) for a set of decent coil packs... Matt Spry proved to me that a faulty coil pack can have devistating consiquences some times, and after the money I spent on my engine alone an extra $899 was a small price to pay to ensure safe results all day everyday...

Yeah no worries, im penciling it in now... I just want to open the bike up, see how fast i can cross the 1/4 in (trap speed i mean)... Im nervous of a gust of wind at 200 tho, I think it will be a true "test and tune" for me, test how confident I am after clicking into 3nd gear at 15,000rpm

I ran a HKS SSQV simplly cause i wanted a "pull" type valve... When you run huge boost you can experience boost leak via the BOV on the usual "push" type valves so I went SSQV simply for redundency... You can also get a plumb back fitting for the ssqv if you want a pull type but want it to be legal... Remember either way you go, have the car tuned to suit... So technically I had a performace reason for a 'atmo' valve...

Spotted Lee in his silvia on the gate way yesterday morning heading north bound... Oh really, that must have been yesterday yeah??? I was in quite a rush actually I was running late for a dinner meeting at Albany Creek and Gympie rd turned into chaos towards Aspley... LOL, you would have seen it clean too... Like the colour???

He was very quick, he kept pulling on everyone else in the group... He was also very consistant through the last corner, as where everyone else seemed to keep pushing harder and harder this guys was very smooth...

Oh i forgot to mention also Geoff... When i was leaving lakeside i saw a Bright Orange HSV GTS pulling into the golf club with a golf cart trailer... Anyway, the number plates on the HSV was "GEOFFS"

My S15 has purple toped injectors and they are 470cc (Australian delivered 2002 'GT' model)... I have read on other forums that the Aussie spec cars had 440cc and jap spec had 470cc, but ive never heard of 480cc as standard... Also I might add that every aussie delivered S15 ive ever seen has had 470cc purple toped injectors so Im not sure where anyone is getting 440cc from, maybe the s14???
