Remember the big puddle at the end of pit lane and through the 2nd corner, the seat acted like a scoop and all of a sudden you had loads of water in your pants... You guys looked like you were having a ball, I thought i wont take the SS cause it will be too slow... But then i saw the 6 litre Calais smasing everything in his group... And it looked like it was running stock tires and everything... There was also a few SS utes there also doing quite well for stock as a rock... I was quite impressed as to how fast they were in compairison to the serious cars... So maybe the SS can round the circuit in an ok time??

HAHAHAHA, well my impression was he drove like a knob... The white RX7 had speed all over him in the first session and yet he pulled accross the straight to block out the RX going into turn one... Then had the Rx all over his bumper for the rest of the lap until he decided to let him pass buy loosing control and go onto the dirt

HAHAHAHA, I saw the yellow R33 go off the track when i was up the back there with one of the maintaince guys... He then pitted the next lap, i thought it may be so he can change his undies...

twin tub hey... Nice Cops are good and bad, its all in the way you drive... I never got pulled over in 3 years owning my yellow R33 which was heavily modified... As for suburbs, well there is a big difference between the gold coast and brisbane, its an hours drive so you really need to know where you looking first... But as for Brisbane it depends where you going to be in relation to your work/income so id be looking to get as close as possible within reason to your place of income... As for the Gold Coast it has less traffic issues, so living anywhere within 20 kms of your income is no hassles...

lakeside looked great this morning... Saw Geoff bashing up the track and saw Chris waving a flag or two... Watched a blue wrx take a corner too hot and end up flipping 180 degres right in front of the integra... The VE Calais 6 litre auto was going nuts, was really supprised how weel it went up against the GTR's... Watched the yellow R33 being pressured by the white RX7 to the point where the R33 left the track and was very lucky not to smack the wall... Was allot of speed coming down onto the straight out of that last corner, the track is faster than i can remember... Cant wait to see the picks... Also does anyone know the contact details for the track as I was speaking with one of the maintainance guys and they have a skidpan up the back of the circuit, so maby we can go to skidpan here and save a 2 hour drive to Gympie???

As I said Bryn I trust no one... I do all my own work (except tuning)... They all do bad things from time to time, its just some workshops do more bad things often

yeah pretty average mate i raced in all three sessions... So i spent a good 3 hours in the drivers seat yesterday... heaps more drive time than every before... i was just looking at the slips to see what times i was posting per lap and i noticed i did 181 laps of kingston park yesterday... most sessions are no more than 15 laps each, but they let us cut loose for an hour straight as we had the track to ourselves, i even had to make a fuel stop as the kart started to cut out on me round the corners and i noticed the tank was basiclly empty... was funny having to pit to re-fuel at a go kart track...

BTW, can i just say in relation to the forum in general... "School holidays much"

wish they would pull their finger and fu<kin fix your car there should be no excusses as to why they are taking so god damn long and no excusses as to why it failed in the first place, sounds to me like they are being chumps about it all

i carry a shit load more speed through the corners as i dont slide all over the place like the lighter people... no need for brakes, just lean forward and turn into the corner... bobs ya uncle im faster through the twists and faster out of the corners... as you know go karts take time to build speed, so the faster you come out of a corner the better... that all said, i came 1st for the day so who cares... also i remember beating one "shanef" at kingston park a few years back in the rain...

Yes as putting in larger injectors and not changing the tune means it will be pouring more fuel into the cylinder each stroke... Hence you will burn through fuel like no tomorrow... In short, to make more power you need; 1. More fuel 2. More air 3. More ignition or at least just good clean ignition Of course for all this to work you ned to balance the above and fine tune the quanities of each of the above listed... So in short bigger injectors by them selves will do bugger all...

the fatter you are the less brakes you need... i was thinking bulk up more before the next time i go...
