  1. What thread was that... Must have been pretty old hey...
  2. So you had the pads re faced??? Ive never heard of that happening before outside of race teams... I bet you one of the pads is out, cause what you have described is what happens when you get old pads on new discs... or new pads on old warped and very well used discs... It causes a vibration and sometimes a clicking noise... Id be checking the pads are true... Apart from that the only other thing that can make a click or clunk noise is a loose bolt/fitting/pad... Check the pads, re-bleed the system make sure there i no air in the lines and tripple check all bolts etc... Also visually inspect the discs and see where the wear marks are on th disc, that will be a good indication of if my hunch is right...
  3. cool, the only contention im aware of is if there was a bend in the road less than 300 metres from the van or if the weather conditions were poor... other than that im not sure you would be able to fight it, plus most of the judges you hear about still issue the fine... yeah mate squizz is still around...
  4. Did you put new pads in or are you using the old pads that were in there before having the discs machined??? My money is on the pads
  5. Firstlly with what im about to say im not saying this is right or moral but; Who investigates accidents??? What do you think they will determine the outcome of the accident always being even if the flash was a part of the cause??? They will always tun back to the fact you were breaking the law and that if you were not speeding you would have more time to avoid a accident etc They protect their own, know what i mean?
  6. short answer yes they can ticket on coming traffic at night with the use of a "speedlite" aka flash long answer, there is a huge book of rules that the operators must go by when setting up the vans. ie. One is at night you must have at least 300metres of clear road before and after the position of the camera unit to avoid accidents caused by the speedlite. I have heard of people taking these types of fines to court, however you rarelly hear of anyone getting off any fines... It always boils down to the judge saying "You were speeding, do the crime pay the fine" etc

  12. I ran Irridiums for years, never had an issue... Heat range 6 and a 1.1mm gap worked a treat all the way to 332rwkw @ 21psi... Never blew out the spark... Nothing wrong with Irridiums, dont care what anyone has to say they worked well for me and id use them again...
  13. Yeah I saw the car on the back of a tow truck near greenbank, Im going to assume it was the same car... As it was in the local area and Im sure there are not too many R34 GTRs crashed there each day... Damage does not look too bad, it will be repairable...

  20. Thats sounds like a great pro-active idea... (Changed topic title to EOI) Good Luck, just a little advice. * Set a date and post it (at least 2 weeks in advance) and they will come. * After time they will either grow in popularity or decline and you can go from there. * If your waiting for others to say "he we will come" it will never get there, so just set a date and do it. Cheers Col
