hey i posted this in classic skylines and have got no response... after a closer look i found this thread... im new here so i didnt know it was here. neways all that aside, i have an rb20 auto box that tends to flare between changes. if u drive sedatley it is only just noticable, if you rev it out to 4 or 5 grand then it tends to take ages to shift from 1st to second, and occasionaly from second to third...does the box have bands to adjust the clutch packs? im new to skylines so i got no idea about the r31's. any help would b great thanx grant

hey guys totally new here... im guessing that this is the correct area for this topic. i have a r31 4dr with an rb20det in it the automatic gearbox tends to "flare" between changes, its not overly apparent at low rpm, however if u let it rev out a lil and allow it to change at 4-5 thou then the time between changes from 1st 2 second and 2nd to third it rather long. feels like a slipping clutch a lil. but obviously its not was wondering if they have an adjustable band setup on the clutch packs, if so ow do they get adjusted? any help would b great thanx grant
