  1. I bought this with plans of swapping over the parts to my Phase 2 Clio. However, after cleaning it up and having a good look over it, I've realised it's a really good example of a somewhat rare car, with quality mods. I'm now faced with the dilemma... Do I keep this car and sell my ph2? Do I sell this and keep my ph2? Do i sell both and buy a newer Clio.... or something else)? For now I'm going to advertise both my Clio's, and just see what happens! I'm also going to start working towards getting this Clio on the road. (see other ad here) I'd be interested in a trade/swap for a Clio 197/200, Integra Type R, R26, RX8, Silvia/200sx, Evo, etc. I could possibly add a few grand towards the right trade. 2. I recently purchased a Phase 1 172 with the intention of swapping over its goodies to this car. However, after cleaning it up I've realised it's a really good example of a somewhat rare and collectable car. I'm now faced with the dilemma... Do I keep this car and sell my ph1? Do I sell this and keep my ph1? Do i sell both and buy a newer Clio.... or something else? For now I'm going to advertise both my Clio's, and just see what happens! I could potentially swap parts between cars for the buyer too. (see other ad here) *Will be sold with all currently removed parts supplied... I could probably re-install for buyer. I'd be interested in a trade/swap for a Clio 197/200, Integra Type R, R26, Megane 250, RX8, Silvia/200sx, Evo, STI, etc. I could possibly add a few grand towards the right trade. It is in fairly good condition for a 13 year old car. The exterior comes up really well when clean, and whilst there are a few imperfections, it still turns heads. The interior is pretty clean too... both are probably around 7/10. Mechanically it seems to be in great condition… engine is strong, gearbox is smooth, suspension and brakes work perfectly. Receipts show it has had a really good service history. When my girlfriend purchased the Clio, In Sept '13, we chose this one because it had obviously been well looked after, and felt nice and tight. It received 4 new rotors and pads, new rear shocks, new rear wheel bearings and new front strut tops for the RWC. Shortly after purchasing it we had a Renault specialist look over it, who replaced the crank pulley and both inner tie rods. They also replaced the ECU and UCH to fix an intermittent immobiliser fault. Just between the RWC and follow up work, $3000 was spent on the Clio. In Nov '14 the car had the following work completed: A free flowing muffler fitted, with flanges welded swap to easily re-fit the standard muffler; RS Tuner; Battery relocated to boot; Timing belt, water pump, etc replaced; Practically new 182 cup shocks (modified to fit) and springs, plus camber bolts installed; Parts/interior removed to reduce weight (easily re-installed). More recently (May '15), Carbone Lorraine RC6 pads were fitted; Brake fluid change with ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid; Oil and filter changed; New Federal RS-R tyres; Whiteline rear swaybar fitted; Sony bluetooth headunit fitted; Alpine component speakers fitted; Sound deadening installed. Since Nov '14 at least $4000 has been spent on the Clio. The car has completed 4 track days at Winton, and performed faultlessly on each occasion. Last time out I managed a 1.48.65, but it should easily go quicker. These are oldish photos... car is now a bit lower and has black mesh instead of foglights

This is not an ESP model... I'm guessing the ECU/UCH came from an ESP model -Airbag and SERV lights on since removing rear seatbelts... can be fixed with resistors -Battery nearly due for replacement (only causes minor issues... trip meter reset, slower fob recognition) Description It is with apprehension that I’m putting my 2001 Renault Sport Clio 172 up for sale. Up until recently, this was my girlfriends’ daily driver; but as I just bought her a 225, I've taken ownership of the Clio. It's is in fairly good condition for a 13 year old car. The exterior comes up really well when clean, and whilst there are a few imperfections, it still turns heads. The interior is pretty clean too... both are probably around 7/10. Mechanical it seems to still be in great condition… the engine is strong, gearbox is smooth, suspension and brakes work perfectly, and there are no funny noises. Receipts show it has had a really good service history. When my girlfriend purchased the Clio, a bit over a year ago, we chose this one because it had obviously been well looked after, and felt nice and tight. It received 4 new rotors and pads, new rear shocks, new rear wheel bearings and new front strut tops for the RWC (12/09/13). Shortly after purchasing it we had a pedantic Renault "specialist" look over it (26/09/13). They replaced the crank pulley, both inner tie rods, a driveshaft boot, the pollen filter, and the brake fluid. They also replaced the ECU and Body Computer to fix an intermittent immobiliser fault. Just between the RWC and the follow up work, $3000 was spent on the Clio. Since taking ownership, the Clio completed it's first track day at the 2014 OzRenaultSport Nats at Winton. I entered the car in standard form, and it performed faultlessly, and was a blast to drive. I'd like to complete some more track days now, and if the Clio does not sell in a hurry, it will likely see some more track days. I've started performing some subtle mods to help it perform on the track. During November 2014 the car has had the following work completed: A free flowing muffler fitted, with flanges welded on to the new, and standard muffler, so as to easily change between the two (high flow cat already fitted); Custom intake with pod behind fog light; RS Tuner; Battery relocated to boot; Timing belt, water pump, etc replaced; Predator front brake pads installed and rotors skimmed; Practically new 182 cup shocks (modified to fit) and springs, plus camber bolts installed; Oil and filter changed; Parts/interior removed to reduce weight (easily re-installed). Since November at least $2700 has been spent on the Clio. It has registration until mid-March 2015, and should only need a couple of tyres, and a few parts re-installed for RWC. Custom intake, battery relocation and custom rear floor

  6. Year: 2001 Make: Renault Sport Model: Clio 172 Km's: 171000 Reg: March 2015 RWC: Yes Price: $6500 (will consider trades, with up to $5k on top, for a track suitable sports car) Location: Ballarat, Victoria Contact: James - 0431320142 It is with apprehension that I’m putting our 2001 Renault Sport Clio 172 (Phase II) up for sale. This was my girlfriends’ car, but I have just bought her a Renault Sport Megane 225. The Clio is in pretty good condition for a 13 year old car. The exterior comes up really well when clean, and whilst there are a few imperfections, it still turns heads… the interior is pretty good condition too. It also seems to be in really good mechanical condition still… the engine is strong, gearbox is smooth, suspension and brakes work perfectly, and there are no funny noises. Receipts show it has had a really good service history. When we purchased the Clio, a bit over a year ago, we chose this one because it had obviously been well looked after, and felt nice and tight. It received 4 new rotors and pads, new rear shocks, new rear wheel bearings and new front strut tops for the RWC (12/09/13). Shortly after purchasing it we had a pedantic Renault workshop look over it (26/09/13). The car has been faultless since then. We fitted a new (standard) exhaust on it, as it had a sports exhaust that was just a bit too loud. I recently changed the oil (5W-40 full synthetic) and filter (01/09/14). The car is due for its’ timing belt to be replaced (by time, not km’s). The car is stock/unmodified, except for a K&N panel filter and a high-flow cat. I can provide a sports exhaust with an option of 2 rear mufflers (loud and really loud), but I think the standard system does the job just as well, but quieter. It has registration until mid-March 2015, and at my asking price will come with a RWC.
  7. Make: Ford Year: 2006 Model: Transit (VM) Variant: T350 140, LWB, Mid-roof Engine: 2.4 TDCi (140hp) Transmission: 6 spd manual (RWD) Odometer: 182000 km's Registration: At buyers expense RWC: Current Vic RWC and VIV Price: $14500 Location: Ballarat, VIC Contact: 0431320142 This VM Transit T350 140 (2.4 TDCi, RWD, LWB, Mid-roof) was declared a Repairable Write-Off (Financial) after a front end collision. The damage was fairly minimal, the airbag was not deployed, and the vehicle still drove just as straight, and just as good as before the accident. The van has only traveled 182000 km's (mostly highway... delivering wine), is in great mechanical condition and has been serviced by Ford all of its life (next service due at 195000 kms). It drives and handles superbly! I recently drove the van through 150 km's of windy/hilly roads and was so impressed with the grunt of the engine and the handling of the chassis. It's actually quite fun to drive, with effortless pull, great steering, and good traction. A friend also recently borrowed the van, since having it repaired, and used it to move relocate to Corryong (530kms NE of Ballarat). He said it performed faultlessly, and couldn't praise it highly enough. The van has been professionally repaired (receipts provided), and will come with a VIV certificate and RWC... nothing for the buyer to do but register. The only reason I'm selling the van unregistered is because it would otherwise mean stamp duty would need to be paid twice (once at registration and once at transfer). The only other issues I've noticed with the van are: *Drivers door doesn't always lock with the remote. Unlocks fine, and still locks with key - *Small dent in bonnet *A few small pin dents and a minor scrape on the sides *Drivers seat arm rest damaged *Vinyl sticker glue residue very slightly visible.... in the right lighting. None of these problems I'd personally worry about... just trying to be honest. You will struggle to find a LWB VM Transit in this condition, with under 200000 Km's, for effectively $15600 drive-away with 12 months reg. The van has an unregistered vehicle permit that is valid until 17/09/14, the RWC has been completed, and the VIV will be done on Wednesday (03/09/14)... it is ready to be sold immediately! I can arrange registration for interstate buyers (at buyers expense). PLEASE IGNORE THE PRICE ON THE BACK WINDOW... OLD PRICE, BEFORE RECENT WORK! Texts, calls, inspections and test drives are welcome! May consider swaps.

Easy fix! -Brake lines aren't clipped to coilovers. -Front swaybar link bushes need replacing. -LHF wheel bearing needs replacing. A secondhand hub could be the cheapest/easiest. -Wiper blades. -LHF power window too slow. It seems fine to me. I was advised just to lube it up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engine: EJ20k.
