Handbrake will be fixed. A BPM intercooler will be fitted if purchased with Power FC, etc. If the buyer wants the car in a closer to standard state, an STI ecu, injectors and AFM could be supplied/fitted for an extra cost.

It sometimes feels like it could engage 2nd easier, most likely due to worn shifter bushes... the shifter is quite sloppy. There appears to be a bit of a leak from the very rear of the gearbox and is most likely due to a worn output shaft seal. I'm very conscious of the gearbox when driving, and never launch or shift hard. My handbrake therefore does not work at the moment. It hasn't bothered me so far, but i did plan to either fix the assembly, find a spare one, or install a hydraulic handbrake. The Intima SR pads are pretty new and are suitable for temps up to 700C (ie. track). The car won't be making 217kw like this, but should be making good power over stock due to the VF22, exhaust, and intake. The braking capability should be still quite good with the upgraded 4 pots up the front. In my opinion you'll still be left with a quick, great handling and stopping street car that could handle the track too. OR $10500 as it is in the original post. I will also consider straight swaps with the parts removed.

I've been under the car today, and noticed that the oil leak appears to be coming from the very rear of the transmission, and is most likely due to a worn output shaft seal. From what i've been told, this would not be a huge job to replace. I haven't contacted any wreckers about a handbrake assembly yet, but i just saw an STI (wont fit) one on ebay for $70. It should be pretty easy to find this part from most wreckers as it's the sameas that of any subaru with an r160 diff (ie. most). The body is pretty straight, with the odd small bump here and there. Most 15 year old cars are no longer perfect... better to know the issues before you buy rather than after. The car has been very reliable. I was planning to use it as a track car and i believe it would be up for the job.

Datsun 1200 ute Ad update. The body straight. The only rust I've spotted is some minor rust in the tub. It has been resprayed. I'd say it was just done with a rattle can but considering it actually looks pretty good. It has a vinyl tonneau cover which fits great. The interior has been partially reupholstered but still needs some items to complete. The engine seems very healthy. It starts easily and runs smoothly. It was developing an occasional "miss" when warm but after playing around with the leads it seems to have gone away. The gearbox and clutch seem to be in great condition. It has a weber carb, extractors, and 17" rims. 2 of the tyres look to be quite new; the other 2 are in pretty good condition. It has a CD player with amp, 6x9's and tweeters. It doesn't seem to be wired up at the moment but its all there ready to go. It has an alarm and remote central locking. I haven't had these working yet... could be that they're not wired in or could just be a battery issue. Shouldn't be hard to get running. It also comes with what i assume to be lowering blocks and shackles (not fitted). $2500
