Hi all, i have just done a custom air intake on my R32. It make use of the space reserve for the stock intercooler. Problem with this one is driving on highway when rainning. The water mist created by the car in front always make the filter wet. Thinking of adding some grill to prevent too much mist entering. Driving on normal road where water mist is not as bad seem no problem.

Hi there, I went down to fulcrum to check my alignment and tell them about my problem and they found out that the castor is almost align. According to them the castor for cars like silvia,soarer and skylines, need to have the Front Left Tires a bit more to the front. Only way to allow that is to fit a adjustable Castor in it. Just a reminder when changing the upper arm bushing which is usually worn for skylines, go for the adjustable type which cost almost the same.(It is a common problem and can be fix by replacing with after market plastic bushing and firm up the steering and handling.) Approx. 250-300 bucks Anyway. The advisor in fulcrum advise for a wheel alignment to be redone. Since Bob Jane Screw it up. Cost my another $88 at Fulcrum. After the realignment. The Steering Wheel is straight and the pulling left problem is greatly reduce to be very little.

Hi there, my skyline is a GTS25 non turbo. I never seen any model similar to mine before. My mate had a look at my rear diff and he noticed that is it not the same a the GTSt. The model code for the rear diff is display inside the engine comparement and mine shows RC45 Read this http://www.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/tech/mo...al_numbers.html RC41 have 4.1:1 rear diff RC43 have 4.3:1 rear diff What is the difference between 4.1 and 4.3 handling and purpose? Just like to ask around who have the same rear diff? Is it an LSD version? Thanx

Hi there, Just like to get some feedback about the steering of Skyline. I just change tires at Bob Jane and they did a alignment check for my car. I noticed that the car always goes to the left side of the road when i left my hands off the wheels. This happen even on flat roads on the highway. Why is this so. I went back to them and they check my alignment and told me there is a problem with the castor which cannot be adjusted. Its is not damaged but they told me its the reason for my problem. They suspect the HICAS try to correct the steering and thats why it always goes to the left. Any of you guys have the problem. Any good recommendation for wheel alignment specialist who does HICAS? (Brisbane Area) Thanx

For the HeadLight coming on and off due to acceleration. Mine also have the same problem. Its got into a state that the left light doesn't turn on at all. The Auto Electician i went to trace the problem to the switch inside the cabin. In R32 its the round switch we turn to get the lights on. Apparently the contact are very dirty due to sparks from over wattage. Someone else put higher wattage blub inside the headlight and cause the switch to work at higher temperature. This cause sparks to generate and have carbon deposit on the contact. Get it clean by a mechanic or auto electrician.

Hi there, anyone know of good mechanic that is both in brisbane city area and good in Skylines. I usually go to this shop called Charlie Motor in woologabba. But someone say its not that good. Any recommendation?
