Hey, I want to put my car on the Dyno although, I'm not too sure where I should take it too. Anyone have any good suggestions? I live in Logan. I think all that needs to be fixed at the moment is the timing it seems to be just a tad out. The car hasn't been Dynoed at all and thats even after the rebuild which was only a few months ago, so I'd like them just to check over the car as well, just to make sure everything is fine. Engine / Car - Nissan Skyline R33 GTS25T 1993 Series 1 RB25DET Forged 2.6L Modifications: - K & N Pod Filter - Cold Air Intake - Forged Pistons - Strengthen Conrods - Blueprinted - Balanced - Port Polished - Metal Head gasket - Spitfire Coils - High Performance Timing Belt - High Performance Spark Plugs - Gready Turbo Timer Everything else is stock on the car at this stage, so stock ECU, stock boost etc. Also, how much would I be looking at roughly? I fixed the problem, I knew it'd be the spark plugs. I changed them to the $25 NGK ones, and I haven't had a problem, so I'll take it for a drive tonight and see how it goes. Just to answer people questions.. It was running fine before, when I got the car rebuilt with Forged pistons, I was told it would be fine. Stock ECU. Nah, no pinging. That was done recently. Timing however, could be a problem. I've had the car about 6-7mts, and it's cost me a bit since, Forged Rebuild etc, also got it kitted and the interior done, so at the moment just laying back want to get a set of 18inch deep dish chrome wheels though. In the long run, I may be looking at a bigger turbo, injectors, upgraded ecu etc etc. THANKS YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THAT HELPED!

Hey fellow SAU members , I recently had a misfire problem in my RB25DET, I wasn't too sure what the problem was, however I asked a few people on SAU what it could be, and I ended up finding out it was a broken tip on the 6th cylinder spark plug. Thank god, the tip had just melted itself away. The plugs I was using were $25 each, the NGK ones at the time. After finding the problem I changed all 6 spark plugs to the cheap-0 type ones which are $3 each. The car has been running fine, no problems - however now I have noticed the same problem has arisen again, and I am more then sure it is the spark plug again. I'm not too sure why it is doing this, anything you guys can think of? Maybe I had bad luck with that one NGK spark plug, and now since the cheap-0 ones are in there it can't handle the spitfire coil packs and is causing them to melt again? I'm off to work shortly, so I think I'll pull it apart after work and have a look, but like I said before I am more then certin it is the spark plug again, cause it's doing the exact same thing - that was - it had a missfire / popping noises at 4000RPM+ on high load. So, anyone who has any ideas please do leave them here as I want to fix the problem as soon as I can. I think you can buy them from your local Nissan Dealer. A friend of mine just bought one for her R32 and she got it the same day she went in. This is in Queensland though, anyhow worth a shot give your local Nissan Dealer a call.

Thanks for everyone who came out tonight, was an awesome turnout didn't think it'd be so big but thanks to you all there was about 150 cars at Springwood Crazy Clark's. Pitty some people had to do a runner from Springwood, we had one undercover cop car roll in and wanted to start defecting people. Did he get anyone from here? I know he got the black skyline with the big wing for a BOV and dark tint. Anyways, it was good to check out the cars at Springwood, dam there were some nice rides there! The drive to BWCP wasn't too bad just so many cars it was hard to keep together but none the less it was awesome didn't have too many dickheads which was good ..always one on every cruise though. Once we got into BWCP within 10mins we were there the place was packed it would of even been hard to find a car park it was that big of a turnout. I guess once we got to BWCP we all broke up cause we couldn't all park together I walked around though trying to remember faces and have a chat to you all. A few people came to the Coolangatta Meet, but it was in patches etc, but there was a few cars there but like I said after so many broke up at BWCP we weren't going to get all the cars together again. Police wern't too bad tonight I think, I guess once the cops at Springwood knew what was going on they would have told the cops down the coast. No one else got done here did they? Hope not! Anyway, thanks again for everyone who came, 150 cars was an awesome turnout! Have a happy new year, and stay safe!

I'm just going to say this to everyone who hasn't read the first post properly, is please do as there were changes. Also if you don't follow these 4 simple things you will be asked to leave and if need to be your number plate will be taken and reported to the police. Don't try and be a hero you'll just look like a dickhead more then anything. NO Racing/Speeding NO Burnouts NO Skids NO Drifting I'm not trying to be a asshole I just don't want to see anyone injured or dead on a cruise I've organized I'll feel really bad. just think of your loved ones and count to 3. Other then that, should be a really good night, looks like quite a few people are attending (almost 100 from CB and BC) - so lets get into it!
