Hey lads, one of my mates just bought a turbo kit off ebay for his soarer, it consisted of: - Turbo - Manifold - External Wastegate Now i think he only paid around $700 for all this... i have heard bad things about these "monsta" turbos... has anyone had first hand experience with these or know anything about them? hey boys just need to know how to remove and replace a dash cluster, my backlights are not working properyl, i think there is a short somewhere. I have bought another Dash cluster from a friend with about 30,000kms more than what my car actually has but at least this one will work... is it as simple as just unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one? or will i need to re-calibrate it? How do i get the dash cluster out in the first place? is it hard? Beef

Use Meguires Scratch X or some mild abbrasive Cut and Polish.. BUT ONLY RUB IN ONE DIRECTION... VERTICLE STROKES OR HORIZONTAL STROKES... DO NOT RUB IN CIRCLES.... YOU WILL GET SWIRLS AND UR HEADLIGHTS WILL LOOK WORSE THAN THEY ALREADY DID.... Trust me.... my old man is a panel beater and spraypainter... and he warned me.. mine turned out pefect, people ask why i put new lights in...

R33 guys says that my bro (r31 guy) pulled out in front of him when he was overtaking... but how can this be when my bro was already past the truck when he got hit..... it was impossible to pull out in front of him.... becuase he was already past the truck and merging back into the left hand lane when he was hit... so thast doesnt make any sense... the white r33 driver is known as a notourious speeder, and has been warned numerous times to slow down... he has also written off another r33 within the last 12 months... i know who i would beleive...

ok what happened was my bro (r31) was 2nd in line behind a log truck and ther were a few more cars behind him... the guy first behind the log truck over took, then my bro went to over take and he was past the log truck and then some loser tried to be a hero and overtake the whole lot... and didint see my bro, ran up the ass of him the r31 got thrown into some fences but the r33 went through a fence and wrapped around a telegraph pole... witnesses report the r33 to have been travelling at "excessive speed" Beef

Hey lads, just thought id post the death of another R33. This one happened on the way to railton early this week. A loser by the name of Mickey Mouse crashed into the ass of another car while trying to be a hero and pass a huge line of cars...and a log truck..... this is the end result. somone needs to teach this f**kHEAD how to drive... why do i sound so pissed off? it was my brother who he ran up the ass of and nearly killed.... UM NO... i have tried it on all different settings on full and half boost and there is NO change in sound.. however.. there is a difference in LENGTH of the release sound... but NOT PITCH of sound.. the below is an exerpt from the Apexi USA SITE: "The blow off valve is also adjustable to allow desired amounts of boost response between shifts" So there it is... it is adjustable to control the level of boost released between shifts.. NOT SOUND IT IS BOOST CONTROLLING....

Ok boys here is a list of what i need for my Manual R33 Gtst: 1. A good set of Rear Coil-overs (any brand as long as they are in perfect working order) 2. A Boost Guage in Cup(with a back light, my current one doesnt have one) 3. Front Strut Brace 4. Rear Strut Brace 5. Manual Dash Cluster (preferably with low kms but it doenst matter, just need one that works) 6. Short Shifter Kit 7. Cold Air Intake Heat Shield (anything to stop my K&N pod filter from sucking in hot air will be great) 8. 255/40/17 Tyres ( i need 2 of these for the rear rims) doesnt matter what brand... but must be near brand new 9. Intercooler Stencil (so i can spray paint a logo on my front mount) Anyway if anyone can help me out with any of these items.. that would be great PM me or email me at: [email protected]

yeah i really dont think its a sound thing at all... if you think about it... how would it change teh sound anyway? it is a way of boost holding... it just doesnt release it all between gear changes so that the turbo doesnt have to spool all the way up again.... thast all it is

Ok here is what i think it is after a bit of research. you can change the diameter of the pressure outlet.... which means you can make it not realease as much boost pressure between gears.. so if you have it on the biggest hole it will relese all the boost pressure when you change gears.. but if you change it to the smallest one it wont be able to get rid of it all thus it will hold boost between gears... sounds right?

Hey ladz, Today i was mucking around in the engine bay and i was taking a good look at my Apexi BOV... and noticed that it has a red metal band around it that has 3 different size holes in it... i was like why..? so i touched it and it span around... Why would my BOV have this feature and what does it do? change the sound of it or what? i have attatched a couple of pics so you can see what i mean... Beef
