  2. well..... i was driving along the highway and it started to jump and splutter... it has just had a major service with timing belt and full diagnostic... and everything this is fine, it was going better than it ever has beofre, got to an overtaking lane and it died.... so i got it to teh side of the road and popped the bonnet, i knew what it was becuase it has happened to me in another car, so immeditaly i unplugged the afm and it would idle perfectly and it would rev slightly..... the instant moment i plug the afm back in the rev drop and it coughs and splutters and dies.... i unplug... restart and its fine again, so it HAS to be the AFM.... Beef

  8. Hey boys, firstly... look at the attatched pic.... dont tell me my R33 doesnt need lowering somthing shokkin.... I'm thinking of dropping in Lovell Super Lows with new Shocks all round...... does anyone have these springs in their R33? or is everyone now a days going for the Coil-overs? I might just get a set for the rear and drop them in and see if it levels the whole car out because at the moment it looks like it leans to the front slightly..... So if anyone could send me some pics of their R33 with some Lovell Super lows or whatever in it that would be great... What does everyone think i should do? Any advice appreciated... Beef

  12. Hey Boys, Firstly im in TASSIE and Im looking for a change and am interested in trades…, I don’t have any extra cash so obviously its going to have to be of about the same value or something less and cash adjustment my way! Im in real estate so maybe a really nice 4 door car would be good but also wouldn’t mind something else with a turbo on it , I love my imports…. So show me what you got and ill see what I think This is my car: 1994 R33 GTS-T White Manual 126,000kms (Rebuild at 90,000kms) Nismo 400R Bodykit Sunroof CD Player Kenwood 6inch speaker all round Series 2 Turbo (44,000kms) Custom Dump Pipe 5R Racing Oil Catch Tank 3 1/2 inch xForce Cat Back Exhaust High Flow Cat 17x9 front and 17x10 rear rims Blitz Turbo Timer Turbosmart Boost Controller (8/12psi) Apexi BOV Trust Front Mount Intercooler with custom Stainless Steel Piping Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch Lightened Flywheel Spit Fire Coils Earthing Kit Pedders Sports Rider Suspension Dyno Tuned at 12psi and making 209.8kw (281hp) at the wheels 348hp at the flywheel $12,000 in receipts for the work done are available. 13. also solved, as far as i know it defaults back to red when its been diconnected..... i now have changed it back to green.... its a little less "worrying" to look at now.....
  14. PROBLEM SOLVED..... ONE OF The HOSE CLAMPS WAS f*kKIN LOOSE AS, YOU COULD SPIN IT WITH YOUR FINGERS, SO OBVIOUSLY AS THE PRESSURE STARTED TO BUILD AT 3000RPM WHEN THE TURBO WAS BOOSTING.... THE PRESSURE WOULD LEAK.... BUT STILL THE TURBO TIMER SCREEN IS STILL RED.... I CAN CHANGE IT TO GREEN BUT IT DOESNT STAY GREEN AND EVERYTIME I TURN THE CAR OFF IT DEFULTS BACK TO RED.... ANY IDEAS....? ITS A BLITZ full auto turbo timer (FATTX) Beef
  15. maybe..... it seems to get worse at about 3000rpm, just as the turbo starts to spool... but what ever it is it has been triggered by them doing the compression test, it was fine before that.... now its not.... so i dunno.... any other ideas anyone? Beef
  16. Ok, as you may know already i went and got another compression test on friday and the results were good, but now the car is running shit and coughs and splutters and dies under any acceleration at all, i noticed the first time i started the car after the test was completed the screen of the turbo timer which is normally GREEN was RED.... so obviously it is sensing something is wrong.. obviously they have stuffed somthing up while putting it all back together.... but what could it have been? i think they put the coils back in the wrong order they took them off but would this matter? maybe another wire or something they have mucked up... or left un connected??? anyone have any idea what the problem may be? or has anyone encountered this problem themselves? any help would be very much appreciated.
