  1. I have twin davies craig thermos with a custom shroud. If you decide to go down this path, then a shroud is a must. I also have a large alluminium radiator and with all of this replacing the standard set up there is very little gain in space in the engine bay...if that is your main reason for doing it.
  2. Ok, thanks for that. I might try to up the spring rate and get the rear end higher and firmer.
  3. Are the 12kg's really firm? I carry a fair bit of gear around too. Could anyone have a look at they're bc springs and post the part numbers up on here? This is what I have got and i'm pretty sure they are not right but I need to find out. It would be good for others future reference also. Front: 62 200 010 Rear: 62.97.255.008
  4. That was me! Yea, I was waving and wondered why you didn't wave back. Nice C34!!!
  5. Thanks guys. What are the spring rates on your bc's?
  6. The supplier was boostin imports. I questioned the rates before purchase and stated that most of you guys had 10 and 12, but he insisted that they would be too hard for street use. I've got the damper set to 21 from soft and it still seems a bit soft. I doubt they did any changes to the shocks. And no i'm not sure if they are m35 ones apart from the supplier stating that they are. The front seem ok, except for the damper having to be set to the firmer end of the scale. I will contact the supplier and see what he thinks.
  7. Also, not sure if it is related: I have been supplied with 8kg springs on the front and 6kg on the rear. I thought I read somewhere that you guys had higher rated springs. The supplier said that 8 and 6 would be perfect for street and a bit of track.
  8. I have exactly the same problem. Did you end up resolving it? Mine is an AR-X, is your's? Anybody else have any idea?
  9. Spotted a green c34 on parra rd near five dock yesterday at 5:30ish heading towards the city.
  10. wow, that is really close to where I live.
  11. WooHoo, Sound good!!! We should do that for sure. Spotted a silver c34 near central this morn at around 8:30 - I beeped Spotted white M35 Axis in Marrickville at around 5-5:30 (maybe Phil?)
  12. I'm in concord and also in a gold AR-X. Where do you work?
  13. Sorry about that. I'll re-take those pics. For the time being here are some others:
  14. That was probably me. I'm working around there atm. What were you driving? That was the first time i have been spotted.
  15. Hi, Could you please change my name to "Equilibrise" Thanks heaps.
  16. Also, reason for sale is due to an upgrade to coilovers, which I have set to exactly the same height.
  17. For sale are a set of used, but in excellent condition eibach federn performance springs for M35. Car sat low, but not too low. Firmer feel than standard. I will post more pics of clearance on car as well as pics of actual springs over the next couple of days. Asking $250.
  18. I agree with above. Excellent mod, well worth it.
  19. I would say either a hose or pipe on induction side has come off, or afm requires cleaning or replacement. I've had both happen recently at different times. Also, some of the guys on here have gotten new afm off amayana.com (i think thats what it is called) and I would recommend this over nissan. Nissan charges $309 retail!!!
  20. whats the part number? I'll try cancel the order tomorrow.
  21. Damn!!! How did you get trade price?
  22. So, I cleaned the afm and tinkered with it a bit with no prevail so I ordered a new sensor from Nissan. Cost a painful $309 and 10 working day wait.
  23. Thanks Commsman. I just read the post and it sounds about right. I wouldn't mind borrowing someones afm to test just to be sure...if someone is nearbyish or hornsby area. I'll play around with the connections, etc now though and see if there is any improvement.
