Also, engine diagnostics give fault codes 0100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction and 1805 (don't worry about this one - brake pedal sensor mod). It had been giving 0171 - left bank lean for a while, but not now. FYI engine mods are pod filter, fmic, bov, boost cont, radiator, thermo's, plenum spacer, turbo back exhaust.

Hi all, I couldn't find my prob in the search topics, although it probably has been covered. The car is acting like it has a massive induction leak somewhere, however I can't find it anywhere. Basically what happened was as I had taken off from the lights in a quick manner and got to around 3000rpm, when suddenly I had no power (as if I had blown an intercooler pipe off or almost ran out of fuel). I backed off immediately and on deceleration and light acceleration everything acted as normal. Although the turbo builds pressure, as soon as it does the engine starts to die. I managed to get it home and began diagnosing when after 3-5ish mins the engine stalled and would not start again. This morning I went through and checked all of the pipes and connections on induction side for leaks. The car started as normal idled normally for about 3 mins then started idling rough. I cleaned the afm then tried again and achieved the same result. So i'm not sure if its the afm (gave it a clean and no difference), bov stuck open, or something else. I use the car for work, so I am stuck without it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Adam

Just finished installing a GT2 FMIC with one hand into my AR-X. Had surgery on my right hand last week, so it is in a cast with titanium pins holding it together! Was a bit of a mission installing the intercooler, but I couldn't wait. Sweet intercooler kit!

Installed a Koyorad full aluminium radiator, two 12'' davies craig thermo's with temp switch and custom aluminium shroud, big trany cooler and transgo shift kit to my M35 ARX over the weekend. Radiator is excellent - thermo's only need to switch on while idling after some time or high temp days every now and then. Radiator is so much more efficient. Transgo kit is absolutely fantastic!

Northshore Prestige Motors have the best Stagea's. They are slightly more expensive but this is only because they purchase the best condition cars. I know as I used to work for them many years ago and they have an excellent policy for used cars. You will never get a lemon from there and you will never get cheated or lied to, unlike many other used car salesmen. Speak to Ben or Christophe. They are very easy going and know they're stuff. Also, avoid Edward Lee's. They certainly lie and cheat just to make a sale.

Hi guys. Bad news for me. I turned across 2 lanes of stopped traffic and just as I began to cross the 3rd a motorcyclist came into view. It was too late to stop so I punched it to try to miss him and due to the rain he couldn't stop in time and slammed into my rear 1/4 panel. I was meant to insure when I registered the car at christmas time, but due to the mad rush of the time of year, it passed my mind. Unfortunately, I am just remembering now...when I need it. So I guess I'm left to do the repairs myself. I've done a bit of searching for parts, but it is proving quite difficult. Anyone know where I could source a rear bar and AR-X flares (among other things). Anybody know good yet lower cost repairers in Sydney. I'll probably give it a hit doing a large amount of the work myself as I gotta keep cost low as poss seeing that I gotta pay for somebodies bike aswell.

I have am having exactly the same problem!!! Only difference is I have tried moving the keys around and have even replaced the ignition barrel switch and there is no change! The stereo doesn't work and climate control is stuck on 23 deg (it was switched off just before it cut out - it switched itself on!). Before it would cut out occasionally and switch back on immediately, but now it has been stuck off for 2 weeks. I don't think its a stereo prob, as the climate cont is also included in the prob. Any other idea's or knowledge about this anyone???
