hi guys, a mate of mine is thinking of getting a Toyota GT Starlet before eventually progressing to a skyline. He just got his license and wanna the starlet as a stepping stone. I think its a pretty good idea. He's not planning on making it loud, noisy and copbait on the road but he did asked me as a favour to post this thread on his behalf cos he wanna heard your views/experiences on the starlet. The one he's looking at now is a 1994 black GT Starlet with aftermarket rims and exhaust system but alas, its an auto but he had got plans to convert it to a manual. Please post your views and comments, guys. Hopefully, this does not escalate to a competition of egos or petty online fistfight cheers all
