  6. thks R31Heaven.
  7. i guess that from the comments gathered so far, the result varies from car to car...
  8. i mean yeah... they are the police ... but can they do that?? entice drivers to floor the accelerator?? getting caught is 1 thing, but getting caught by the SAME guy who 'enticed' you in the first place is :hellpisd:
  9. lol... show us yours, scott... if any at all :sly:
  10. you lucky dog you... i usually get shouts like 'love your car', 'very nice skyline' and once 'can i get a ride?'... 50% were drunk, 25% were underaged, 20% were gals whose driving and 5% streetwalkers
  11. disconnect battery, step on the brake pedal to drain all power and reconnect. start the engine and ECU will begin learning. another way is to disconnect the battery and leave it for 24 hours before reconnecting it.
  12. hi guys, just wanna heard some recommendations on wat material i should use for wrapping my intake pipe. It runs down to the front bar for cold air induction but it does get heated up by the heat from the engine. thking about wrapping the piping to lessen the heat but not sure about wat material to use. thanks in advance
  13. i had similar results on my 32 as well. you basically reset the ECU so that it will relearn your driving characteristics again. i usually reset whenever i had any mods on the car such as air pod, exhaust, new oil change and even strut and sway bars. you will notice the RPM bouncing up and down a little but that's normal. run a search thru' the forums and you will probably find more comments on resetting the ECU.
  14. i thk we have the same rims design. wat size are they? very nice car
  15. to the best of my knowledge: buying a front is totally dependable on your luck. some may have been taken off from cars that had serious crashes at the back but the owner decided to write it off. only of the signs of of overused are engine wear, worn belts, dried oil, rust, etc. once an NA car has been coverted, a new ECU is preferred to cope with the additional km output. as for the wiring harness, i dun really noe much abt that so no comments from me. glenn
  16. ok... here's wat i found... dun quote me on it though http://www.bba-reman.com/aircon.htm and taken from another forum The little glass topped device just in front of the radiator on the passenger side is the refrigerant flow indicator. If the system is up to pressure you should only see bubbles flow passed window when the compressor cuts in and out and then it should only be for a second or so. If the system is low on pressure the refrigerant will stay as a liquid, the compressor should take it over the threshold to a gas. Here endeth the first lesson. hope this helps
  17. something to do with the colour i thk but the theory works for all compressor. run a search on the net or ask your local aircon mechanic. in the meantime, i will be doing a search myself. my a/c is working fine but its better to be safe and sorry.
  18. i see a chinese character for 'water' on the sign... what they sell?
  19. did you chk the little glass hole thingy on the compressor? its supposed to tell you whether you are outa gas anot i thk....
  20. if you wanna a quick sale, you will have to provide more info on it. maintenance and parts for a GTR are not cheap and people wanna noe where and esp wat they are investing their money into. its like buying a cheap bungalow only to realised that its built on a croc invested swamp. granted the fact that your price is fantastic for a 32 GTR but i believe many would rather pay more for a peace of mind. good luck with the sale.
  21. the prices were terrible during the christmas and new year season... i was tempted to kill my engine at the traffic lights but then again, we all love driving our lines
  22. ops... so sorry... that's the price for the normal unleaded... i forgotten to add another 10c to it. so yeah, it will come up to same as Gold Coast. but i noticed the pattern for the past few months that prices are cheapest on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. is it the same in GC?
