EnricoPalazzo, i do know what the *** i am talking about. i did some research on the FCs before deciding on a skyline. when i mentioned S4 and S5, i was referring to the FC design. S1 to S3 is the old savana shape and beyond S5 is the new infinite shape. jazza08 was asking about RX7 in general and i wasn't sure about which series he's asking about, hence commenting that if he is after the FC shape, he should be looking out for the S4 and S5. and yes, flooding is common in all FCs, but the engine did generally improved for all 89 model onwards. read about this somewhere. Flooding in a FC is something that leave you stranded and will eat several batteries and starters in the process. It happens when you start the car, then shut it down without it properly warming up. Recommened antidotes are purging all the fuel by removing spark plugs, cranking several times to purge fuel, reinstall plugs, crank again, etc.. and you are incorrect about all FCs Cabriolet being auto from factory. go to this link, its one of the best links about ALL rx7s. http://www.rx7uknet.dircon.co.uk/history.html

if you wanna get an FC, go for the series 4 or 5 and preferably 89 model onwards becos the overflooding petrol is solved from that time onwards. Its a very nice car with a great sports shape but the interior is kinda crappy as compared to a skyline. there;s ALOT of potential when it comes to modifications and the 13B engine responses very well to it. my 2 cents.

AutoTrust, there was a bit of rubbing coming from the steering and no, my problem was not the same as others. i was lucky becos the fitting went quite smoothly for me and did not affect my hicas. anyways, i was glad that it all went well. happy new year too!

Up for sale is a set of 4 standard rims fitted with 4 Dunlop Leman tyres (205/60/15) . The rims are in excellent condition with no scratch or gutter marks. 2 of them (rear ones) - approx 50% thread left. 2 of them (front ones) - approx 70% thread left. These wheels came off a R32 GTS25, 4 x PCD 114.3. looking at $250 ono. I am in Brisbane.

if you get NOS, you will be need ALOT of engine internals upgrades. stick to the stock exhaust or follow Cecam's direction becos that's what i did as well. once again, you do NOT wanna lose that torque... trust me ...

my gf was on a business trip to Japan for a while.. she saw a couple of the v35 and said its looks MUCH better than in pics.... also commented on the cute beachboy style guy whose driving it ...

it may work for you but not for me though.. i did try using foam AND tape but after a while, you can feel/heard the rubbing inside the steering and trust me, it can irritate the shit outa you... and yes, i reset the ecu again... by disconnecting the battery, draining all power by depressing the brake pedal and wait it out for 24 hrs. had no problem with the hicas, only that the momo was tilting about 5mm to the left. tried getting it to centre but impossible until i visited fulcrum.

i will be bringing along my mini foxie... small little fellow with a big bite .. :sly:

is it street legal and just done up for circuit? sounds like you did alot of track work yourself and definitely in a position to know much more about car handling... i will balance the pros and cons... problem is.. its hard to find a rear bar for a r32 thks again Sydneykid
