what BelGarion said is true... a person's behaviour can give himself/herself away... but then again, careful not to jump to conclusions... GenesisR32

way to go!!.. with a degree, you will most likely proceed to higher ranking uniform. I got to know a couple of pilots who got posted here (2 years) and they each got themselves STIs, FCs, Supras, etc... if you are going back to Singapore, you might wanna go to Miki's. (www.mikimarketing.com) He got lots of stuffs at a reasonable price. Mostly cosmetic though. I got my millennium MOMO from him at a very good price. For parts, you can ask RB26DETT. He's a member in this forum and a proud owner of a 33GTR. He is now back in Sg and getting ALOT of stuffs for his car (conrods, oil cooler, etc) hypothetically speaking, anyone whom you blow away in a street race is potentially a culprit. Sunnybank area is well-known for having alot of performance car owners... and alot of punks as well... some of them might bear grudges against you. Just thk carefully in the past weeks whether you accidentally offended anyone besides the WRX fellow... but then again, i thk the chances of you finding the person behind your ordeal is very slim... just be careful with where you park your gal next time. cheers buddy GenesisR32
-
haha... i was referring to the shit that the punks did to your car. I can really feel your pain when i saw the pictures... muthafarkers .... browse your pbase.com before, i tot tat you had a garage for your car? wat is it doing outside in the first place? btw, saw your intro in the previous thread. Aren't you supposed to finish your NS first before coming over? I know that becos i am a fellow kiasu S'porean as well :-) Currently doing my masters here in UQ. GenesisR32

you will be a cop-magnet... learn to mount a horse first before riding it. Its too power and expensive a car for someone that young to handle GenesisR32

name's Glenn and i drive a black R32 GTS25 (non-turbo). She's pretty stock except for exhaust and air pod mods. Goes to Uni of Qld. Give a wave when passing by on the roads... had experience it a couple of times already from fellow linesters... cheers

tap water in radiator is very very baaaddddd.... it will induce rust in no time... get it flushed out asap GenesisR32
-
its strange that you have got no coolant left.. it could be your radiator is leaking or water pump is gone. You should always check your water/oil level at least once a week to make sure everything's fine. here's a tip: 1) make sure that you flush out the tap water FIRST (unscrew radiator nut at the bottom of the car). You will have to mix the coolant with water into a pail... make sure that you get the right mixture. Too much or little coolant can be bad. 2) once ALL the water is flushed out, turn on the engine and let the car run for all 5 mins. During this time, continuously feed water into the radiator so that the rust is being flushed out by the running water. 3) lastly, kill the engine and screw the nut back on and fill up the radiator via the reservoir tank (white box). There should be an indicator on the tank, if not, about 3/4 full is enough. If you pour anymore, it would end up being spilled. When all this is done, turn on your engine and let the new mixture circular around the radiator. it MIGHT shoot all the way up to H for a while but give it a while to settle in. it will cost you a fair bit if you get this done by a mechanic but I have done it lotsa times myself. It only takes 1/2hr and allows you to understand your car a little better too. hope that this helps GenesisR32

have been using Optimax all along with my previous car, Honda Prelude and now with my r32. Think will give BP ultimate a try to see how it react on my car... have been getting alot of good reviews on it. GenesisR32

this is going to spark off a debate. Frankly speaking, is there anyone out there who had tried BOTH fuel and give a better assessment? GenesisR32
-

give Cresta a call... the back of the shop is like a funeral home for import cars... you can built a 10sec car with the parts... they are situated in capalaba... can't remember their no and addy though... sorry.. GenesisR32
-
would gladly join you but got 3 exam papers to prepare for next week... sigh.... have fun GenesisR32
-
yeah man ... you should get it done up real quick ... i have to wait till friday before i get my skirts... and then another week before i start working on them becos of my exams... d'oh... GenesisR32
-
$520 is for the skirts sprayed and fitted onto my car. If you get just the skirts alone, its $280. The GTR skirts (very nice) is only $20 more and you need to get the whole body kit as well becos it will look funny with just the GTR skirts.
-
finally got a pair of fibreglass sideskirts from DMD for $280 for my R32. Now wanna try to install them myself. please feel free to share your experiences with me... things such as painting them, drilling, installing, etc... a step by step guide would be great :bahaha: thanks GenesisR32
-
haha .. you might as well pay $30 more to get the new ones... but it's a fair bit of work painting and fitting them onto the car. Will update on the status. GenesisR32
-
went down to Ceasta and they quoted me $330 for a pair of used side skirts. after much running around today, i decided that the best bargain would still be DMD. Placed an order today and will be picking it up on friday. thks everyone for your help GenesisR32
-
i just called up DMD and got a quote. $520 to get a new set of aftermarket skirts fitted and sprayed... too expensive... i might just pop by an import wreckers and chk it out.. thks GenesisR32
