    Same year as mine, problem is only Euro models got them. And I have to compete with the US "Jetta" owners when they do come up. Not really worth it but you never know. [emoji23]

    No way. What a freaking bargain. Well done! (I'm waiting for genuine Xenon headlights for my Bora in my price range but they usually sell for over 600 which is nuts and way too much for me.)

    Oh that's awesome. I didn't realise it was test drive time yet. Did you have any issues lining up bolts on the driver's side? Did the subframe go in ok?

    No judgement on the crash cause btw. I ask because it looks like you were T-Boned but then the bent rim appears to have concrete grinds on it. We've all done dumb stuff. I got the tail out on my old 180SX as I left my work.... Did a 180 (no pun internded) and came to rest against a No Standing sign and the curb. Had to sit there while all my colleagues drove past.

    This is unreal! What caused the crash? Mad props for getting stuck in, especially as you hadn't worked on a car before. This would be a very satisfying job to do I reckon. Your rim copped it pretty hard eh? Yikes! The good news is that the V35 rims look freaking awesome and you got a sweet bargain there. Are you planning on straightening the sill around the wheel well/door frame? Or just leave it?
