  1. Can you share some screens? I tested it for days with the admins and it was fine.
  2. Awesome. Thanks guys! I have another flush in there for the week and next weekend i'll be draining for a coolant refill. Thanks!
  3. Hi Shane, A lot of the content is being rebuilt after the upgrade. Theres still some to go so there may be missing attachments and images for a little while yet. Christian
  4. Can those of you having image duplication issues - what theme are you using? Can you test using the default theme?
  5. So much yes! We tried a wiki a few years ago but there was not much energy in the people who wanted to contribute. I would love this and would see it in a similar light to the DIY thread with a list of all the best DIY threads.
  6. I've been doing that but with a rag. When it comes to the top I just dip the rag in and it gets the floating bits. Will the little bits of oil have an adverse affect to my coolant?
  7. Silly title, I know but I couldn't come up with a better one. Late last year the oil cooler in my Bora let go and it sucked all 5L of engine oil into my cooling system. I've since replaced the cooler, thermostat, thermostat housing, temp sensor and a few other little bits and pieces. It appears my temp sensor was dead and my car would never go over 90 degrees no matter how hot it was (maybe a factor in the oil cooler going.) The cooling system has been flushed 8 times now, (3 by a mechanic who I thought he was going to pressure flush it but he only did the same as me which is to use a flushing additive and run it for a few hours.) The cooling system works beautifully, its only had water and additive in it since its been running again and it never gets hot and flow is fine. (I can view temp on my climate control interface and I can't get it over ~85). It is definitely not blocked anywhere but every flush I do reveals tiny little globules of oil in the expansion tank. There must be on miniscule bits of oil in there now and I'm not totally sure that I need to keep flushing it. VW coolant is expensive and I'm only using VW approved additives and oils as the old girl needs all the love she can get. I don't want to add the coolant only to find its been destroyed by any remaining oil. So, a few questions here; Can I add coolant now? How can I get all the little bits of oil out? Should I change my radiator? Thanks guys!
  8. Regarding the login issue, can you clear all cookies for SAU and try again?
  9. @Tugster376 True.

  10. OK, Database server was out of space. I've just fixed the problem. It should be fine now can you let me know if it happens again?
  11. Nutso. 4.1L VR38 powered 86. This is the power the 86 should have had from the start. More > http://www.streetfx.com.au/streetfx-wtf86-worlds-first-toyota-86-powered-by-a-4-1l-hks-gt1000-r35-gtr-engine/
  12. Is this happening on older posts (older than last monday) or new posts?
  13. I know, I'm sorry! Hopefully not much longer.
  14. So the washer bottle was easy to fix, the hose had come off the nipple for the jets... How embarrassment.
  15. One of the issues we're battling with atm that we're waiting for support on is that the site was supposed to "rebuild" old posts to make them display in the new format but our rebuilding task keeps running into problems. So, these will definitely be updated soon, I just dont have an ETA.

  17. Yep, its coming. Its delayed by the issues with search. There is an issue logged with Invision Support who are working on it. Hopefully not much longer.
  18. They'll be back soon, issues with the search index atm are stopping these from being updated.
