  1. God the quality of this is blowing my mind. Everything looks so nice and clean and perfect fits.
  2. Hi @ColCrawford - your parts page enquiry form is broken. :(

  3. And just hose water through until its relatively clean i guess? Once the oil cooler is back on and the engine full of oil I'll be able to run it again. I just didn't want any of the sludge in my cooling system to choke up my cooler. I can't like your post either, I've "over liked" my quota for the day.
  4. Haha! My dog ate the log in ... thing.
  5. So, just pull a hose off the bottom and run water through?
  6. I'd like that, ShortCircuit but this stupid site just said "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day" - clearly I'm being far too positive. Thanks for posting that. It makes it so much more official seeing it (ie, not a media over reaction)
  7. The car wont hold oil long enough to run. The cooler is attached to the bottom of the block and it seems that the movement of coolant works to suck the oil out. When I stopped the car after realising something was wrong the dipstick was bone dry.
  8. Nothing a drill wont fix.
  9. From Twitter, a NSW Fair Trading rep at a familiar looking red-coloured dealership.
  10. How is “3hrs prep time” and “55 mins cook time” considered an “easy and quick midweek meal” ???

  11. Bitches Brew is heavy. Have you heard Kind of Blue, Miles Davis?
  12. Yeah, bastards that don't back down.
  13. With a community of import owners as passionate as the Australian one you'd be stupid to do anything wrong.
  14. Argh crap, sorry, my fault. give me 5 mins.
  15. "Cause and effect will turn wheel of car retribution" Thanks Google.
  16. Do you love #craft and #handmade stuff? Check out my sisters Instagram account https://t.co/3LHuUsr44q

  17. Wow! I wonder if that one car yard who will be suspended immediately is EL...
  18. Hi All, Late last year my Bora packed it in. On inspection it was realised that the factory oil cooler had let go allowing all the oil in the engine to go into the cooling system. I turned the engine off before it stopped, so I'm fairly confident that the block is ok. Now, I have some replacement parts to fit, including the oil cooler and some better hoses/pipes for the cooling system. I have a bit of a conundrum. I can't start the engine until the oil cooler is replaced, at which point the coolant will still be contaminated and upon starting the engine, it will pump the sludge through the new parts. Or, is there something I can do to flush the cooling system without the engine running so I can get everything as clean as possible? As a second note, how do you dispose of coolant in Sydney? Thanks.
  19. Yes! I really like AP brakes also.
  20. Thats a seriously good point.

Whoa! I'm sorry that this is how you've taken responses. I personally am not poking at you at all and I'm enjoying this discussion even though I'm having a hard time keeping up with it. Your input is absolutely valuable and I, for one, don't want you to piss off. BTW, I totally misread this as a request for an anonymous mental health forum, hence my mention of beyond blue.
