  1. Yeah der me. Can definitely leave the impact socket on and bash that. Oooh D.. you crack me up 😂
  2. Nut is off but I did leave it there to bash earlier. I'll try my little sledge on the but but it sits recessed into the hub so hard to hit with anything sizely.
  3. Seriously, everything that could have gone wrong this weekend has. I'll update the issues I've had shortly but currently the hub and knuckle will not seperate from the drive shaft. I've tried bashing it (ha!) And I now have a 3 claw puller on as hard as I could (like shortly a crap load) and then bashed it again (ha!). No luck. I then left the puller on and heated it up with my propane torch for about 5 mins. And bashed it (ha!) So the puller is still on. I was hoping that the constant pressure over night might help? After that I'm at a loss. (Btw bashing it with a heavy plastic hammer so drive shaft and thread safe) What the hell do I do now? Thanks C
  4. Done. But you need a new naming structure. This is the third one you've had!!
  5. Damn, that looks amazing!
  6. Welcome back Paul! Hope things are well. Another Eastern Creek track weapon on the cards then ?
  7. is not going anywhere!!! Thanks for the kind works and welcome!
  8. I wonder if there is noise absorbing materials they could build into the straight wall or something... Surely there are methods for dropping the db's.
  9. Yeah absolutely. They copped it hard when the Goulburn bypass was built and this gives them another opportunity to attract business. Sound must travel quite well around there because there really is not much around it.
  10. This sucks; https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/07/14/court-decision-delivers-hammer-blow-to-wakefield-park-future/ They'll likely be more expensive now also and who knows what the future holds. Just got new camber plates and semis and was hoping to go down in the next few weeks.
  11. Talking to yourself again?
  12. Welcome Ken! Not sure of any mechs around there, sorry.
  13. Welcome! Any pics?
  14. I'm pretty sure they're M12x1.25.
  15. Thanks guys, theres a lot of food for thought here. @Murray_Calaverato your points re. safety, I do plan on putting my seatbelt over the top of the harness (as is required by Wakefield) so the baby seat mounts might still be an option as I don't intend for them to hold my 115kg lump in a crash. Not sure if that changes your mind on them? I was also worried about the spine compression when your shoulders go above the seat (which mine do). This issue makes me think that I should get a seat also before using the harness with stock seats. @mlr I couldn't get the videos to load on that site, but I found the one below. Very interesting. It reminds me of the seatbelt locks that you put on the top of the belt to stop it moving.
  16. Hi Guys, I'm starting to want to squeeze more out of my car when I go to Wakefield now but while there are a lot of things I want to do to the car still, I am struggling to get a good feel for it while I'm flopping about all over the place. My stock seats are *ok* not great by any means but for the time being its still my daily. I know I can just swap seats in and out but I'd like to just try a harness first to keep my rolling self pinned. I think i'll need to use it with the main seatbelt unless it's engineered, so quick clip-in ones are not going to work. I also have two of the new baby seat style clips at the base of my back seat. What I was thinking was clipping in the rear and then adding the front fixtures to the front seats' rear rail mounts. Does that make sense? If all this sounds sane(ish) then I'd need to know what to get. It seems like a Sparco harness is the go but there seems to be eleventy billion different types and configurations. Thanks guys. C
  17. Watch everybody line up to help you now. 😂
  18. Hey @Dan BNRyou might want to ask for pics of these wheels in the Cosmetic or General sections. This ad is 8 years old. https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/7-general-automotive-discussion/ https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/157-cosmetic-styling-respray/
