    OK, Just saw the IPS Driver Errors just now. It looks like the service which keeps the search index up to date is causing table locking on the posts table. I have been meaning to convert that table to Innodb (no table-level locking) but haven't gotten around to it. I'll try to do it over the weekend.

    There would have been a few IPS driver errors towards the end of last week and over the weekend, but there shouldnt have been any this week. If there have been, can you tell me at approx what times? As for the slowness, I am going to look into our DNS, but apart from that, I dont think there is anything I can do.

    Hey Wink, nice to see another *nix user. I love konquerer, but its bloody hard to make sites work in firefox & ie to start with before introducing anything else.

    haha, how funny! Just today I was browsing in the for sale area and I realised that I hadn't re-added that since the upgrade of the forums and tonight I scraped together the code from last time... What a classic. I should be able to have it working over the weekend.

    Yeah it'll get up there occasionally when a cron or rsync is running (SAU is backed up daily to my local machine) but 3.4 is ok when you consider the CPU power available. Also MySQL uses a LOT of memory atm because I was very generous in the my.cnf.

    Adam, Some google ads are in the rotation up the top as we have a shortage of paying banner advertisers. There are google ads through threads (topics) for guests. C

    Stock BOV? If not, its not plumb back is it? Either way, I think you definitely have a boost leak, especially if your BOV came off its housing... (Can you supply more info here?).
